Our club’s objective is to enable students to get the most out of their stay and to enjoy the Italian way of life to its full. Knowing a language means understanding it and using it in a variety of situations. This is why it is so important to introduce students to a current usage of the language so that they can then understand the most important precepts of the language through having observed it in action.

In fact, obtaining linguistic competence - being able to: understand, speak, read and write - begins with an understanding of the syntax, followed by a more thorough study of the grammatical rules and structures. Particular attention is given to the latest ideas about grammar, the socio-linguistic environment and the most recent developments within the language.

The use of authentic material and activities which fully involve the students makes our teaching method particularly effective and guarantees rapid learning. An initial placement test means that every student is put in the most appropriate group according to the level of his or her knowledge of the language.

Our Courses:

Our intensive group courses for Italian are the quickest and most effective way to learn Italian. These courses are suited to every level, from beginner to advanced and can be attended from anything between two weeks and six months. Lessons take place in the morning or afternoon, every day from Monday to Friday. Price for Intensive Language Courses (20 – 80 hours): 200 – 600 Euro.

Evening courses exist for those who are staying in Rome for a long period. This are held two or three times a week, depending on the formula chosen. Price for Evening Language Course (20 hours in 4 weeks) - 200 Euro.

Results obtained with individual courses usually far exceed students’ expectations. Designed particularly for those who have very little time at their disposal and who need to deal with specific themes. These courses can also include lunch with the teacher to practice making conversation. Price for Individual Courses (10 – 40 individual hours): 370 – 1660 Euro.

The program for these courses will be decided according to the linguistic level of each group. Upon the completion of a level, a certificate of attendance is awarded. Upon request, exams can also be taken to obtain the It Club Certificate at beginner, intermediate and advanced level.

* Study/Language Holidays in Torre Sant'antonio: Students interested in language holidays of a week or more can take part in our Italian program in Torre Sant'Antonio. The program includes 1 - 4 week individual or mini-group courses set in the beautiful Santa Caterina dello Ionio in Calabria.

- Courses with highly qualified, specialized teachers;
- Visits to archaeological and historical places of interest;
- Great food - guaranteed by the local produce;
- Accommodation in small villas or apartments within the Palazzo di Torre Sant' Antonio;

We can arrange: accommodation to suit your needs; for you to be met at the airport or station; to be taken to your accommodation; to provide practical information about the city; thematic excursions; guided visits (also in co-operation with the World Heritage Fund); university seminars; conferences; debates; cultural events as well as restaurant evenings to sample Italy’s famous cuisine.

Accommodation Service:

With at least six weeks notice, it is possible, through our club, to reserve one of the various kinds of accommodation on offer, in the certainty of finding exactly what you are looking for: rooms in student halls of residence, with Italian families, in centrally located hotels or pensions or apartments of various sizes. All of our accommodation has been carefully selected by our staff and is, therefore, absolutely reliable.

Faculty Information:
The school is recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education and also offers university credits. The levels are based upon the Common European Framework, offering classes from beginner to advanced (C2).

Other Activities:
Two guided tours of Rome with the teacher of Italian art and architecture are organized every months. With a minimum of 20 participants, the school also organizes visit of 1-2 days in Florence, Siena, Naples and Pompei.

Facility Information:
Our club can be found in the prestigious Palazzo Doria Pamphili, just a stone’s throw from Piazza Venezia and the Roman Forum. The light and spacious rooms look out onto the picturesque views of Rome and are fitted out with the latest audio-visual equipment.

Our school also offers reading and relaxation areas with two libraries as well as a large lounge where our students can get together during the breaks between lessons, taking advantage of our bar.

The school has a cafeteria, a large room with wide screen for cinema lessons, internet and office facilities. The accommodation service helps students in finding an accommodation with at least 4 week notice.

* Flats: From 1.000 to 2.000 a month, according to size and location. A deposit fee of 30% is required.
