Our goal is to sail every day - The only thing that stops us is bad weather, in fact in during the last three years we only missed one day each year!
Campers are grouped according to their abilities and needs. Games like sail-tag and sail-capture-the-flag put purpose to the skills learned. Campers are encouraged to stay two or more weeks to finish all instruction and to have the opportunity to try all the boats.
Faculty Information:
Some of our boats include: Laser, Club 420, Force 5, and Lightning. The curriculum is a recreational introduction to one-design racing.
Other Activities:
In addition to lectures and on-shore instruction, the program embraces plenty of practical experience sailing on the Rappahannock River.
Facility Information:
The program has more than 20 boats which are used throughout the course allowing a well-rounded experience.
