Jump Start Leadership is an outdoor adventure camp for teenagers age 12-17. We are not just another summer camp. We are dedicated to providing meaningful and growth oriented wilderness experiences. Our mission states, "Through outdoor adventure, Jump Start invites youth to srengthen their leadership and communication skills while helping to connect successes in the oudoors with the ability to succeed in life."
Jump Start offers 10-day, 14-day, and 18-day backpacking and rock climbing adventures in the mountains of Montana. Participants receive professional instruction on backpacking, wilderness travel, orienteering, rock climbing technique and safety, environmental education, effective communication and problem solving skills. All of this is done in a safe and encouraging outdoor environment.

Faculty Information:
Our leadership staff and field instructors are some of the best in the buisness. All staff are at least 21 years of age and have a minimum of 2 years experience leading backcountry trips with teenagers. We exceed industry standards for safety and communication throughout our extended trips.
Other Activities:
Besides backpacking and rock climbing, participants enjoy fly fishing, wildlife viewing, mountain peak ascents, camp fire activities, environmental education, map and compass navigation, and fun!
Facility Information:
Jump Start Leadership is located near beautiful Bozeman, MT. We are located on a 60 acre ranch with stunning views of several different mountain ranges. Participants spent the first night on our campus before taking to the trail for the backpacking and rock climbing portions of their trip. Near the end of each course, participants return to our campus for a family style cookout and campout with parents and Jump Start staff.
