Crest Schools of English was established in 1983 and is one of the longest-established specialist English language schools for foreign students in the UK. The school is accredited by The British Council, is a member of English UK and is registered with the Department for Education and Skills on its Register of Education and Training Providers. Crest Schools of English is a medium-sized school based in a very pleasant part of North West London within easy reach of central London with excellent shopping, restaurants and local amenities.
The school offers a wide range courses: Academic Year, General and Business English, Cambridge exam and IELTS preparation, English for Academic Purposes, Vacation Courses, Specialist English, Teacher Training (TKT), English and Work Experience Programme and One-to-One Tuition throughout the year. Closed Group and Executive courses are tailor-made, based on clients’ specific needs. Timetables are flexible, enabling students to co-ordinate arrangements with hosts and employers as necessary.
Accommodation is arranged on request in local host families, hostels or hotels. All our Host Accommodation is regularly inspected and meets the requirements of the British Council accreditation scheme. In most cases home stay accommodation is within walking distance of or a short bus/tube ride away from school, allowing traveling time and transport costs to be kept to a minimum.
A social programme is available during the year for all students, with options for visiting places of interest in central London as well as outside the capital.
Crest Schools of English is affiliated with London Crest Open Centre, one of the largest Cambridge ESOL examination centres in the UK which offers an extensive range of English and Business English examinations.
Faculty Information:
We use the most up-to-date course books and supplementary material in class and our teachers are always eager to advise you on resource materials for self-study and examinations. Students are encouraged to use the many resources available at the school including books, tapes and CDs.
