The language school was founded in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1995. The school is located in the historical building built in 1901 and renovated in 2005, in the centre of St.Petersburg, within 10 min. walk to the Nevski Prospect. Founded almost 10 years ago, the school complies with all visa requirements and offers the varied social life in a family atmosphere. Students are within easy walking distance of shops, museums, galleries and a wide choice of restaurants, bars and cafes.
The classes are held in new, modern and fully equipped classrooms in the very centre of St. Petersburg. Computer class, videos, audio courses. Free internet access with Wi-Fi, tea/coffee during the breaks.
Since 2004 the Russian Language Centre is a member of "ASTRA", The Association of of Schools and Teachers of Russian Abroad. It means that the school is a reliable and permanent school, with an excellent program of Russian language studies, first-class teaching, an interesting and varied program of social activities.

Faculty Information:
All our teachers are certified as the teachers of Russian for Foreigners, know at least two foreign languages and many of them have some scientific works and
publications in the sphere of Philology. The classes are held in new modern classrooms. Our students are people of different ages and occupations from European countries, the USA and Japan.
Other Activities:
Cultural Program. In an effort to acquaint our students with this magnificent city, we offer rich cultural program, such as sight-seeing tours, theater visits (opera/ballet), theme excursions ( e. g. on Russian orthodoxy,economics), museums and galleries (e.g. the Hermitage), factory visits,shopping tours and excursions to the countryside and to the suburbs and other cities Moscow, Novgorod, Pskov.
Students can look through the weekly program of events and choose the one which is more attractive in the office.
As a rule, our Study Excursions are in Russian adapted according to the participants' level of the language. But we also have the possibility to arrange excursions and lectures in German, French or English.
Our excursions are, so called, study excursions, when a guide uses “adapted” Russian to help the students not only get some extra vocabulary knowledge, but also to practice there conversational skills. These excursions are arranged in the way that even a beginner will not waste the time but enlarge his Russian vocabulary. Study excursions are the part of the educational program and usually are devoted to different topics covered in classrooms.
It is possible to join our “vetcherinkas” in our small country house (Datcha). We are sure every person will enjoy staying in the native Russian countryside, spending a very nice time, having the experience of the original Russian bath-house accompanied by shashlik made on the open fire.Students can look through the weekly program of events and choose the one which is more attractive in the office.
