Our Center is a small school with capacity of 20 students. We work on a weekly basis, 20 hours per week from Monday through Friday. We accept students at all levels from the beginners to the advanced. We provide a personalized service and we have in operation for 13 years by now. All of our teachers are university graduates and they have a good experience teaching the Spanish language on a one on one basis.
Our school is located near the beach (5 blocks from the Caribbean Sea) and close to downtown La Ceiba. There are outgoings with the teacher to points of interest like the central market, post office, central park, supermarkets, etc. in order to interact and practice the language with the locals. Teachers assign daily homework to be reviewed the next day with the student. The four hours of classes are divided into one hour of grammar, one hour of conversation, one hour reading and one hour of outside activities to practice in real life situations.
We offer students to live with a local Honduran family while attending school. Private room and 3 meals per day are provided. Meals are based on nutritional facts and they serve varied types of food, so students do not get bored of the same food. Our host families are walking distance from school. The students get involved in the host family activities in order to practice the language after school in a daily basis.
On the first day of classes, after the orientation sessions, students take a proficiency test in order to be placed at the right level of the language. Every Friday students take an exam to see their progress. Our school is full air conditioned for your comfort. There are daily lectures in the afternoons and there are always teachers available to help students with their home works and if they have any doubts or questions regarding the subject they are studying at that moment.
We have a full conditioned library to consult about the grammar or about the Latin Culture. We have special programs including Spanish for travelers, Spanish for Medical students, Spanish for seniors, Spanish for Business purposes, Spanish for college students and Spanish for Missionaries.
There are daily extracurricular activities after classes. We have morning and afternoon classes and students choose their schedule as we are very flexible with this issue because we know that they are part time studying and part time on vacation.
