Our TESL Program is one of the best short duration courses available. It has been developed by experts in the various fields, and designed to provide participants with economy of costs and time.
Our college's TEC (Teaching English to Children) students will learn the unique skills required to assist young learners in second language acquisition. The program will focus on children in primary school, with some attention given to preschool. The TEC course will engage the student-teacher in all aspects of the syllabus through a hands-on approach.
Activities that are used to teach children, such as games, songs, crafts, and rhymes, will be modeled in class to provide a practical understanding. Class activities, discussions, projects and presentations will make learning authentic and interactive.
Participants in the Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) Diploma program will gain confidence, knowledge, and poise as they practice their new skills within a classroom setting. The TESL program includes theory, projects, presentations, and six exams.
Both the TEC program and the TESL program have been developed by experts in the various teaching and child education fields. The program is designed to provide students with solid theoretical information, and expose them to an intensive and very enjoyable practical experience that will enable them to enter the wonderful world of educating children.
Faculty Information:
Our College's Business English program is designed to provide an overview of communications found in typical business transactions. Using role-playing, lecture, projects, and group work, students will receive instruction in basic business planning, resume writing, job search, marketing, and TOEIC testing preparation, and a 2 week internship with a local business.
All faculties have TESL certification and numerous years of teaching experience. TESL instructors also have a Masters Degree and bring their experience to the class. All are experienced in curriculum design and have international teaching experience.
