We offer General English courses, Business English courses, Medical English courses and Cambridge/IELTS examination courses. Our school has been teaching English for over 17 years. The language centre is comprised of two main buildings situated just off the waters edge in St. Julians Bay. Keating House, the largest building of the two, is the centre of the school and is a four story building which houses 13 comfortable class rooms. This is where most of our students will attend their courses and it is also the administrative centre of our school.
Liberty House is the second of the two language centres just meters away from the main school. It is also fully air-conditioned with 6 spacious, well lit, comfortable class rooms, internet cafe and a relaxing garden area. Many of our students have told us that being at our school is like being part of a very large family. We remain in contact with many of our students after they leave us and many regulars return to us year in, year out. Our language school is a member of the E.L.T. International Group of Specialist English Language Schools (Oxford, U.K.) The school is dedicated to the memory of Padre Pio da Pietrelcina.
Faculty Information:
The General English program aims to develop communication skills and an all-round understanding of the English language. General English is taught at five different levels of English, from beginner to advance. The course covers reading, writing, listening and speaking and also essential grammar, pronunciation, colloquial language, idioms and vocabulary. As there is no fixed duration for this course you can continue for as long as is needed.
Other Activities:
Culture: Explore the ancient Neolithic temples and places of historical significance and interest. Stroll around the museums, art galleries, and experience a traditionally flamboyant Maltese Festa. Culture tours, theater visits, concert tickets and harbor cruises are organized by the school.
Water Sports: The Maltese islands are a Mecca for all water sports enthusiasts. Scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming, para gliding, jet skiing, sailing, water skiing, wake boarding, windsurfing, deep sea fishing and harbor cruises are just some of the activities available.
Land Lovers: Malta’s rugged terrain is ideal for mountain biking, off road Jeep safari, rock-climbing, trekking and horse riding. The school can also organize go-karting all year round, and paint ball trips in cooler months.
Social and Nightlife: Paceville, in St. Julians offers a vibrant nightlife to suit all tastes, from the latest in club music to quieter piano bars and jazz clubs. A newly built shopping mall is coupled with a 16 screen IMAX cinema complex and bowling ally.
Relax: Lounge around in the sun by the pool, or head to one of Malta’s beaches or to one of its many rocky inlets or coves.
There are also several health and fitness spas in the vicinity of St, Julians which have excellent amenities.
