Designed for individuals who want to learn, improve or perfect their Spanish. The course is open to all language levels, from elementary to advanced. Courses equip students with the most simple to the most complex communication skills and instil a clear understanding of Spanish grammar. We continually update our teaching methods and use a wide variety of teaching material (specialised texts, songs, games, DVDs, articles, comics, listening comprehension cassettes, etc.), all aimed at developing oral and written expression and comprehension. With this approach the students can progressively develop through the 6 levels which we offer. Beginner, elementary and lower and higher intermediate courses last two weeks, advanced courses from two to four weeks and proficiency courses between two and eight weeks. Each level is divided into two parts: theory and grammar practice, and oral practice, and these classes are taught by two different teachers and are entirely in Spanish.

* Rosa Tejero, a Philology graduate. She has been giving language classes at our school for ten years. She taught in Cairo for five years at the Instituto Cervantes. An avid reader and cinema-goer, she seduces us with her style.
Our school is accredited by the Instituto Cervantes and all our teachers are native speakers and have a university degree. They are all specialized in the teaching of Spanish for foreigners and have outstanding experience in the subjects they teach.

In addition to all the above, our school is a centre of flamenco. So if you want to combine flamenco with Spanish lessons this is the right place. We are highly acclaimed in Andalusia as a place where professionals and enthusiasts come together, and offer dance, guitar, singing and rhythm classes.
A cultural program consisting of talks and cultural visits is included in the price of any course. A talk on Granada (which includes practical information about the city, location of places of interest, restaurants, etc. on a map, opening times) and another on the Alhambra in which important information is given before the visit. The cultural visits are to different places in the city of great artistic/historical interest or with stunning scenery and views. Visits are organized to the important historic quarters, and also churches, monuments and museums. A teacher from the school, who is an expert both in the subject and the teaching of Spanish to foreigners, is responsible for the entire cultural program, and can therefore be easily understood by students who do not have a good knowledge of the language.
Facility Information:
Our accommodation is located in the Albayzín (the old quarter of Granada) and is very close to the school and to the city centre. Family accommodation, however, can sometimes be in other parts of Granada and a bit further away from the school. The city centre is about a 20 minute walk from the school but there are also good bus connections available.
