These courses are mainly practical and during the two or four weeks of workshops. Classes are a good occasion to verify one's interest in restoration as well as an opportunity to learn basics for restoration at an amateurishly level. These courses can also represent a precious experience and cultural enrichment for university students of conservation of art and history of art with the opportunity to have practical experience on authentic ancient material.

- Introduction to wood restoration
- Introduction to painting restoration
Participants having previous experiences, have the opportunity to in deep specific techniques like conservation of gilded wood, retouching techniques, archaeological ceramic conservation.

La Cantoria is a professional school for becoming a restorer.
Teaching is mainly based on practical applications of restoration techniques. Students gain the necessary experience working directly on authentic ancient material provided by museums and private collectors. La Cantoria's courses are planned favouring as much as possible practical experience in laboratory, without omitting, even in short programs, to underline theoretical needs for a scientific and modern approach to any conservative intervention. La Cantoria has a quality management system certificate for design and provision of vocational courses in the field of restoration and conservation.
Other Activities:
Visits to main Florence Museums, wine tasting and vineyard tours can be arranged.
