The ISIS Oxford School of English is part of the ISIS group. There are additional ISIS schools in Greenwich (London) and Brighton. All ISIS schools combine low prices with high academic standards and are accredited by the British Council.
The school is in the very centre of Oxford, a few metres from the main shopping streets (Cornmarket Street and Queen Street). We are very close to all the main attractions, including the university colleges, museums, art galleries, historic
buildings, the river, bars, clubs and pubs.
The school is spacious and quiet, with fantastic views from the windows, overlooking the rooftops of Oxford to the Carfax Tower, Christ Church cathedral and the beautiful countryside beyond.
We have a large student social room, with newspapers and magazines. During the morning break there is a café selling drinks and snacks.
Computers are available in the student computer room. All are connected to the internet and students can use them at any time. They are free.
A small but growing self-access study centre enables students to use a range of learning materials to improve their English language skills. The self-study centre offers cassette tapes, CD ROMs and printed exercises. Our library has textbooks and novels graded from Elementary to Proficiency levels. There is also a TV and DVD player. All are free.
Our teachers are experienced professionals, highly valued by students and the school. They are friendly, helpful and genuinely interested in the students and their progress.
Our school is truly international and students come from all over the world – South America, the Middle East, Africa, and the Far East as well as Europe. Most are age 20 – 30. Our minimum age is 16.
There is a maximum of 15 students per class. Usually there are around 10 students per class, but in some cases it can be as low as five or six.
Buses to all parts of the city stop close by. The coach station and the train station are a short walk.
The school is accredited by the British Council, and is open Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 18:00.

Other Activities:
We have an active social programme, especially during the long hot days of summer. Activities include guided tours of Oxford, visists to museums and art galleries, ice-skating, bowling, punting on the river, barbecues and our weekly Pub Night. At the weekends there are excursions to places like London, Bath, Stratford-upon-Avon, Cambridge, Brighton, Warwick and Stonehenge.
