I want your paintings to be done in a lively way so as to touch the feelings of the viewer. In the morning we will work outside and prepare documents on paper using techniques of drawing, gouache and acrylics. In the afternoon we will use and organize the paper documents of the morning and paint canvasses in the studio.
Faculty Information:
Anne Le Cléac'h expresses the many aspects of her deep feelings in such a way that you will never forget her paintings. Although she is a lively and cheerful person, painting is in her view an act of faith and a means to express her strength and hopes. Persuing truth she produces works that appear harmonious, unusual and precious.
Anne Le Cléac'h was trained at the Academie de Port-Royal and the Rudi Munger engraving studio. She is in charge of the Fine Arts Department of the citiy of Gagny and teaches fine arts at the Conservatoire de Gagny and the Academie du Pastel in Paris. She is the president of the fine arts group of the cities of Le Raincy and Villemomble. She was a guest of honor in several salons and got many awards: Grand Prix of the Académie de Port-Royal, Medal of the city of Paris, Prize of the Taylor Foundation.

Other Activities:
Those who don't paint are also welcome. In an area rich in tourism they can discover landscapes, castles, museums, wineries and other curiosities of the Rhône Valley and Ardeche.
Facility Information:
We are located in southern France, near Provence, 12 miles south of Valence and 3 miles west of the Rhône river. You will enjoy painting and have fun in the outdoors on a great and beautiful 800 acres ranch.
Nestled along a small stream in a beautiful environment, Perrot's Mill has been mentioned many times since the 12th century in historical records and still retains much of its character and charm. Each room displays its own particular touch of authenticity. The living room with the medieval windows and monumental fire-place calls us back into the heart of the Middle Ages when the Lord of Pierregourde came to court the miller's daughter.
Rooms are comfortable, equipped in most cases with private bathrooms and tastefully decorated with paintings. The beautiful north light painting studio is fully equipped with easels, drawing boards, chairs, stools, etc and is at your disposal 24 hours a day.
Note: You have free access to a WiFi connected PC.
Notes:
Full boarding in comfortable single or shared rooms including all drinks and beverages (even Champagne).
