The 6-Day Course:
Arriving at Villa Lucia by midday, enjoy a meet and greet with staff, fellow students and chef for the week. The host will guide you on a walk through the beautiful surroundings of the historic village of Vorno and discuss with you the programme and any special requirements you may have. The hands-on cooking classes will be scheduled on a daily basis focusing on lunch and dinner, breakfast will be provided. During your stay there will be time available to explore at your free will or to simply relax around the beautifully manicured grounds of the villa.
Faculty Information:
The Italian cooking classes are set up in an intimate, hands-on manner, so that complete novices can sit along side professional chefs, yet both be educated and amused. Our staff all speak English and will make sure you are entertained or completely relaxed depending on your mood.
Other Activities:
Other activities include a guided tour of Lucca and Cinque Terre, Wine tasting around the local vineyard, a visit to Pistoia markets and Lunch at Monte Catini alto.
Facility Information:
Villa Lucia is situated in the charming traditional village of Vorno, a delightful gathering of rustic stone farmhouses and majestic villas set in the lush countryside at the foot of Monte Zano in Northern Tuscany. Vorno lies just outside of the beautiful town of Lucca. Villa Lucia also offer spa facilities, gym, tennis court, ancient grotto, multiple pools and cinema room.

There are two available options, a culinary student or simply to be a gourmet guest. Prices vary according to your choice of accommodation, ranging from a premier suite, deluxe, standard and additional costs for a single room supplement.
