A steady practice is designed for nothing less than personal transformation. We’ll open the gate to a safe, loving container that calls us home to our most expansive and true Selves through the broad practices of yoga: contemplative postures, breathwork, sound healing, mediation, yoga nidra and self-inquiry. As we establish compassionate presence, false layers of contracted energy are released and the golden glow of self-love and connection expand.
We will take these practices off the mat and into the spectacular hiking trails and water ways of Song of the Morning. On Saturday evening a community celebration will unfold through the healing art of contemplative dance. All levels of experience are welcome. We will be highly active and interactive throughout this retreat, so arrive prepared to move and be moved! "Look deeply: I still arrive, in order to laugh and to cry, in order to fear and to hope. The rhythm of my heart is the birth and death of all that are alive... Please call me by my true names, so I can hear all my cries and laughs at once, so I can see that my joy and pain are one. Please call me by my true names, so I can wake up, and so the door of my heart can be left open, the door of compassion."
