Our college is a recognized international college in the very heart of the University City of Oxford. Oxford is a fascinating mixture of ancient traditions and a modern vibrant city. We welcome students from all over the world to study short programs or year round courses.

Our Programs:

* General English: The General English program consists of 20 lessons a week in small groups. This can be combined with 5 or 10 individual lessons a week, if required. Our courses are designed to provide you with an effective and enjoyable way to learn English. We welcome all ages levels of English learners, from beginner and elementary to upper-intermediate and advanced. Our courses are designed to provide you with an effective and enjoyable way to learn English:

- First day assessment test to place you in the class best suited to your needs;
- Individual or group tuition - or a combination - with experienced and enthusiastic teachers;
- Regular assessment tests to help you review your progress;
- Our college's Certificate upon successful completion of your course.

We aim to train students to communicate both fluently and accurately in English through a full introduction to the fundamental elements of the language, so teachers give different emphasis to reading, writing, listening and speaking, according to the needs of the students, using material appropriate to their age and their stage of development.

* Intensive English: The Intensive English program consists of 30 lessons a week in small groups. This can be combined with 5 or 10 individual lessons a week, if required. Our courses are designed to provide you with an effective and enjoyable way to learn English. We welcome all ages levels of English learners, from beginner and elementary to upper-intermediate and advanced. Our courses are designed to provide you with an effective and enjoyable way to learn English:

* Business English: The Business English program gives company staff and students following business or the following examinations: management programs the opportunity to communicate in English in business situations. For individual bookings the program consists of 20 General English lessons per week followed by 5 or 10 specialist lessons on the above topics.

For group bookings the program consists of 30 group lessons a week, all focusing upon Business English, or 20 General English followed by 10 Business English. We offer: LCCI/EDI examinations, University of Cambridge Examinations, Certificates.

* English for Law: The main objective of the course is to build participants' legal vocabulary, classroom discussion skills, and presentation capabilities. This program is intended for those at intermediate level or above who want to focus on English for Law, either for academic or professional purposes. For example, it is suited to those seeking a career in Law, or those who want to study Law at University before entering another profession, eg Business.

For individual bookings the program consists of 20 General English lessons per week followed by 5 or 10 specialist lessons on the above topics. For group bookings the program consists of 30 group lessons a week, all focusing upon Legal English, or 20 General English followed by 10 Legal English. Your teachers will use textbooks, magazines, newspapers, case histories, the internet, and television/video. Included in the program are visits to the Oxford Courts. Examinations: TOLES, Our college's Certificate.

* English for Medicine: The program is intended for qualified doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, dietitians and other health care professionals, whose first language is not English. The emphasis is mastery of written and spoken communication in a medical context in English. The program is only suitable for those with at least an intermediate level of English. Course structure:

- For individual bookings the program consists of 20 General English lessons per week followed by 5 or 10 lessons on specialist topics in Medical English. For group bookings the program consists of 30 group lessons a week, all focusing upon Medical English, or 20 General English followed by 10 Medical English;
- Teaching is by qualified English Language teachers with a Health care background;
- On some afternoons participants visit local Oxford hospitals or undertake case studies.

Course overview: patient interaction, communications with colleagues, the care process, culture and medicine, medical vocabulary. We provide our college's Certificate in Medical English for all students who successful complete the program for which they have applied.

* Academic English: The Academic English program consists of 30 lessons a week in small groups, or 20 lessons plus 5 or 10 individual lessons a week. Students also following A-Level or GCSE programs generally receive 10 group lessons a week for IELTS as part of their program. The Academic English program usually consists of preparation for an examination, and the following tests are offered: IELTS, Cambridge exams (all), TOEFL, TOEIC, SAT.

* English Plus: The English Plus program allows you to combine General English (20 lessons a week) with a specialist subject for 5 private lessons a week. This could be one you have already studied eg. Art, Computing, International Relations, or something entirely new.

* Spring into Action: The programs are suitable for all age groups. Students may stay for one week or more. English Language lessons take place each morning (20 lessons a week) and include seasonal themes such as Easter Eggs, Mad Hatters and Masks!

In the afternoons younger students have activities during the weekdays. These include:
- Mad Hatter's Tea Party;
- Painting Easter Eggs
- Easter Egg Hunt and Quiz;
- Harry Potter's Hogwart's Tour of Oxford;
- Face-Painting;
- Easter Bonnet Parade.

At the weekends there is an excursion to Warwick Castle (spooky!), the indoor Aqua FunPool, or a WildLife Park.

* Summer in Oxford, The city of the Dreaming Spires: The programs are suitable for all age groups, and students may stay for one week or more. For over 16s teaching takes place in Wadham College, one of the most beautiful Colleges of the University of Oxford. This is a very memorable experience. It is also possible to arrange residential programs in a College of the University for groups.

English Language lessons take place each morning (20 lessons a week. In the afternoons young people have activities during the weekdays.
Activities include:
- Punting on the River;
- Strawberries and CreamTea in an Oxford College;
- Learn to play Cricket and Croquet;
- Harry Potter's Hogwart's Tour of Oxford (for juniors).

At the weekends there is a full-day excursion to destinations such as London, Warwick or Brighton.

* Specially designed programs and Summer, Semester or Year in Oxford: We are able to design special programs for individuals and groups from Universities, Companies, and Senior High Schools. They are intended for students who wish to take an academically challenging program and to study in one of the world's most famous and beautiful university cities. The minimum stay is two weeks, and the programs are available in the summer vacation or as a Semester or Year in Oxford.

Some of the programs are designed to enrich the student's current curriculum in conjunction with their High School or University, whereas others are intended to offer a new perspective on existing studies. Students may take two subjects (chosen from over twenty) and those staying more than one month may take different subjects after the first month. All students are provided with a transcript of their Oxford studies on completion.

For professional men and women we offer a range of programs in Business, International Relations, Law, and many other areas. Teaching is in small seminar groups (averaging five students) and tutorials (one to one or one to two teaching, based on the Oxford and Cambridge tutorial system).

* Accommodation: Accommodation is generally in single or shared rooms, with hosts who are carefully selected for their interest in hosting foreign students and who live within easy reach of the college. Accommodation includes breakfast and evening meal on Mondays to Fridays, with the addition of lunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

Living with an English host is an opportunity to study in a friendly and secure environment. We regularly inspect the rooms and facilities to ensure that they meet our standards and our Accommodation Secretary remains in close contact with all hosts to ensure that students are happy and that standards are maintained.

For students wishing to have greater independence, our college can arrange accommodation in a guesthouse or hotel. We can also help our students find a flat to rent. We can also arrange residence in a College of the University for groups in the Summer.

Faculty Information:
All tutors are fully qualified and experienced. We teach over 20 different subjects. The College is accredited by the British Accreditation Council.

Other Activities:
An optional program of social, sporting and cultural activities runs throughout the year in the late afternoons and evenings and at weekends. It includes visits to world-famous museums and theaters, sightseeing and concerts, with the addition of punting on the river, basketball, badminton, international evenings and picnics during the summer season. Optional weekend excursions are charged separately, in addition to the daily social program, and they include visits to Shakespeare's Birthplace, Stratford - on - Avon, London, Bath, Stonehenge and other places of historical and cultural interest.

Our students have free membership of an Oxford Health and Sports Center, with indoor swimming pool, squash, gym, and other facilities.

During July and August the social activities program takes place every weekday. It includes a mixture of Sport, Cultural Visits, Fun and Games, and Oxford specials, such as visiting the film set of Harry Potter, or Punting on the river. There are excursions every weekend. Also, we have special seasonal activities at these times.

Our college is a modern school in the center of the university city of Oxford. There is a pleasant relaxation room for students, and we provide free email and internet access. Membership of a leading oxford sports center is included, and the excellent Oxford library is five minutes walk from our college.
