Thank you for your interest in our Spanish Courses in Spain. We are sure you will find the reason why you contacted us. You are offered the choice of 2 towns in which to follow your Spanish course: Granada, in the heart of eastern Andalusia, or Almuñécar, on the Costa del Sol.
Our institute – Almuñécar, can be found in Plaza Fabriquilla, in the town center, 100 meters from the Plaza del Ayntamiento. Likewise, our offer ranges from courses aimed at those with no previous knowledge of Spanish to courses concerning aspects of the language which would interest both university students and business people of all fields: Business Spanish, Literature, Spanish and Latin-American Culture, etc. We also offer a wide range of courses with regard to duration, price and total class hours and a daily programme of recreational and cultural activities.
* What do we offer: Our courses are structured in four basic levels, each with their corresponding sub-levels. Students can be incorporated directly at any level, thus allowing the study of the Spanish Language by anyone who wants, independently of their current knowledge of the language.
* Methodology: The teaching will be carried out entirely in Spanish using direct methods and looking for mental association between the concept and the corresponding words in Spanish. Vocabulary and grammar are learnt using situations which will help to be understood.
We emphasized the continual practice in written and spoken language. There will be various exercises to practice different grammar structures, dictations, essays, reading with special attention to phonetics, and free or controlled conversation in Spanish. All these exercises will be checked by the teachers.
* Accommodation: If you wish, we can arrange accommodation for you. We do not charge for this service. The following different types of accommodation are available:
- With a Spanish family: Sharing the house with a Spanish family you will have your own room. You can have either Half Board (breakfast plus lunch or dinner) or Full Board (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
- In a Hostel or Hotel: The Institute, at no extra charge, can make a booking for you to meet your requirements.
- In Apartments: The Institute has some apartments available with single and double rooms. These apartments all have a fully equipped kitchen (plus all the normal kitchen utensils), bathroom and living room. All the general expenses are included in the price.
- In an apartment with Spanish people: This option is only available in Granada.
If your are interested in any of these types of accommodation, you must fill in the accommodation section in the Registration form specifying which type of accommodation you want. The accommodation will be booked automatically at no extra charge. We hope you will find ours a professional and friendly atmosphere.
Faculty Information:
The language teachers in our institute have superior degrees in Philology in addition to their teaching training certificate (CAP). Special subject teachers have degrees in their respective specialties (Business Spanish, Literature, etc.). Each student will have at least two teachers during the course. The teaching staff is coordinated by the Head of the Institute. In addition to their teaching duties, all our staff are available to help you in any way or to provide you with any information you may require.

Other Activities:
In both of our centers we have a daily program of activities. It consists of: activities taking place in both Granada and Almuñécar:
- Conferences on the literature, history, art, etc., of Spain and Latin-America.
- Informal talks of current topics related to the Hispanic world, with the aid of slides, videos, etc.
- Poetry workshop, with studies of different Hispanic poets and their work.
- Latin-American and Spanish music workshop.
- Series of Spanish films with daily showing of a recent film from Spanish cinema, directed by representative and current film-makers such as Pedro Almodóvar, Carlos Saura, Alejandro Amenábar.
- Class on Latin-America, with videos and informal talks.
- Various fiestas and free sangría, a typical Andalusian drink.
All the activities mentioned above are included in the price of the courses and participation is optional.
Activities unique to Almuñécar:
- Mountain biking, both in the town and in its neighboring rural areas. Those who are following our courses can use the bikes within the hours that they are not needed for the scheduled rides.
- Beach volleyball.
- Football and basketball.
- Visit to the Valle Tropical (Tropical Valley), including a walk and lectures on crops growing and their organization.
- Visit to the ancient part of the town with a lecture on its history.
All the activities mentioned above are included in the price of the courses and participation is optional.
