Spanish Language courses combined with excursions and cultural activities. Ages: 13 - 16 years of age. Our program is best suited to more mature, independent teenagers with some travel experience. Students 17 and over join our adult program.
El Puerto de Santa María is located in the Northeast of the Cadiz province, on the Guadalete River outlet, in the heart of the Bay of Cadiz, in the South of Andalucía, on the northern bank of the Bay, in front of Cádiz and between Puerto Real, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Rota and Jerez.
According to the foreign travel and language agents that have visited the city and the school, El Puerto de Santa Maria is considered to be the most important coastal city receiving many visitors and groups through the academic year.
Faculty Information:
The teachers and the monitors are at the disposition of the students 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. The students are always accompanied by a teacher and a monitor on every excursion or activity.
At night a teacher or a monitor sleeps in a room at the end of each dormitory and supervises that all students are present at all times. Also the dimension of the grounds of the school and the distance to any residential area guarantees that the students are unable to leave the grounds by themselves.
One of the best things about the course is the fact that all afternoon and evening activities are shared with groups of young Spanish people, so that conversation flows naturally and lasting friendships are made.

Facility Information:
Host family: (shared double rooms/full board) with 3 meals daily. Half board is also an option with 2 meals daily, breakfast and either lunch or dinner. Singles rooms are available at extra cost. Contact the school for prices and conditions.
General information about our host families: The family provides 3 meals daily, breakfast, lunch and dinner. On the days that there are excursions programmed the host family will provide the student with a packed lunch that is usually eaten with the other students and teachers at the school or on the excursion.
The families are normally located between 05-15 minutes walking distance from the school and town center. Normally our students must be home at 23.00, if there are no evening activities with school staff.
Individual students will share rooms with another student of the same sex studying on the teenage program. All students will be accompanied to the school on the first day by a member of the host family and students should follow this route on consecutive days to avoid getting lost. As our host families are close to the school students find it quite easy to find their way after the first day.
