Our school is the largest Independent School of Cake Decorating and Sugarcraft in the UK, welcoming students from around the world to attend our Professional Sugarcraft Courses. The School is situated only 45 minutes from London by train on the outskirts of the beautiful Georgian town of Farnham, Surrey.
The school has grown from these humble beginnings to be internationally recognized as the place to learn from some of the world's best sugacraft tutors. What has not been lost is the family atmosphere that makes all students feel at home and enjoy their time spent on our courses. For the last 14 years we have had a small but dedicated school room behind our shop premises in Farnham, Surrey. Here you will see a selection of sugarwork and museum pieces on display including a wedding cake made over 80 years ago.
We offer tuition in all aspects of sugarcraft, from courses for complete beginners to those for advanced level students including a wide range of floral courses teaching all the techniques you need. The School is situated in the historical Town of Farnham, Surrey just 50 minutes from London Waterloo by train.
We have a wide range of courses suitable for beginners through to advanced Sugarcrafters. We offer everything from one day to five day schools, evening classes, demonstrations and Professional Chocolate courses.
Every aspect of cake decorating and sugarcraft is taught at the Squires Kitchen School, from beginners sugarpaste to a masterclass in royal icing, from marzipan modeling to advanced sugarflowers. You can be certain to find a course that suits you.
With a different tutor each day, you’ll learn new ideas and techniques over 5 days - flower making, modeling, royal icing and others. Free three-day exhibition tickets included.
