We are located in Modena, right in the historic center. A historic university town Modena is situated in Emilia-Romagna, a north-central region of Italy. With its 200,000 inhabitants, it is both tranquil and lively, a place where modernity and tradition meet and engage comfortably with one another.
The goal of our program is communication. Pronunciation, vocabulary, and the grammatical structures of the Italian language are always presented in context, in order to develop comprehension, reading, speaking, and writing skills. There are five levels in all: beginners, elementary, intermediate I, intermediate II and advanced.
We consider your interests and your motives for choosing to study Italian to be fundamental to our task. We are always available to respond to your needs, and we will do our best to work with you to achieve your educational goals.
All of our courses, organized according to the methods for the teaching of foreign languages set forth by the Council of Europe, are the fruits of our labors, both as individuals and in collaboration.
Intensive Courses in Groups
The courses begin with a placement test which allows us to evaluate your familiarity with the language and to form classes composed of students all at the same level. There are five levels in all: beginners, elementary, intermediate I, intermediate II and advanced. The courses run from two weeks to twelve months. It is possible to start a course on Mondays according to the course calendar.
The classes are composed of a maximum of twelve students of diverse nationalities. Each group works with two teachers, and the lessons are conducted exclusively in Italian. The four hours of daily classroom time are divided between two separate courses of grammatical structure and vocabulary, and expression and conversation. In classes composed of one or two students the duration of daily lesson will be 2 hours instead of 4; since small groups work in more intensive manner the same progress can be guaranteed. The consistent contact between students and teachers and the flexibility of our teaching methods facilitate a real and intense encounter with the Italian language.
The schedule of the courses is the following: from Monday to Friday, from 9.00 to 13.00. One class hour has the duration of 55 minutes. There will be a short break from 10.50 to 11.10. Every fifteen days there is a test to assess the students’ progress, as well as to assure the continued homogeneity of each level.
The teaching material is consistently reviewed according to the needs of the specific groups and individual students aiming to improve the communicative skills of every individual student. Your active participation allows you to learn Italian in a friendly and engaging atmosphere. The teaching together with a binder will be given by the school and is included in the course price.

Every student has his or her specific interests, needs, and rhythms. We seek to satisfy these needs and organizes individual courses in general Italian as well as specific Italian courses in literature, art, business and commercial Italian, tourism, Italian for systematic study, translations, and courses for teachers of Italian as a foreign language.
In addition, we offer lessons specifically designed to prepare you for:

If you want you may decide to combine these private lessons, individually or in groups of two or three people, with the intensive group courses.
These courses are recommended for students who are already in Italy and can dedicate a longer time period for their language studies, or for those who, because of their work, cannot participate the basic courses in the morning. The groups meet two times per week. The anticipated days of the course are Tuesday and Thursday or Wednesday and Friday. The lessons are held in the afternoon or in the evening.
The number of hours per day depends on the number of participants:
