Todays China is a far cry from the days of Mao revolutionaries in buttoned-down tunics. Beijing, cultural and political capital, is showing the way of modernity and doesnt want to look back. Our Chinese Levels:
* Beginner Level - you have never studied Mandarin Chinese. You will learn the grammar basics, Chinese phonetics as well as basic Chinese vocabulary to be able to build simple, everyday sentences.
* False Beginner - you already know a few words or perhaps learned some Chinese years ago but have now forgotten most of it. To acquire a good basis, you will start again from the beginning with the grammar, Chinese phonetics and basic Chinese vocabulary.
* Elementary Level - you have learned some Chinese phonetics and a few words but you cannot express yourself. You will learn basic Chinese vocabulary, sentence structure and grammar using everyday topics. Phonetics, tone exercises and drills ensure that you learn the correct pronunciation and intonation from the very beginning.
* Intermediate Level - you have acquired elementary Chinese grammar and you can express yourself on general topics. This course goes thoroughly into grammar, more complex sentence structure and specific vocabulary. You will be able to express yourself better on everyday topics.
* Advanced Level - you are able to hold a conversation and express your opinion. This course will help you improve your reading (newspapers), your listening comprehension (news broadcasts), and your conversational skills. It will broaden your vocabulary and strengthen the grammar structures.
Our Chinese Courses:
Courses duration from 2 weeks and up to 6 months or more. Each lesson lasts 50 minutes, 4 lessons each morning. Small groups of 10 to 12 students maximum per class allow us to give you individual attention and the opportunity for each person to actively participate during the lessons.
* Standard Chinese Course:
This is a general Chinese group course designed for all levels. You can start any Monday (except for beginners: see dates below). 20 lessons per week, i.e. 4 lessons in the morning from Monday to Friday that leave you free in the afternoon to discover the Chinese culture and the city where you have chosen to stay. Price (2 - 24 weeks): 540 - 3020 (20 lessons/week);
* Combined group + 4, 8 or 10 private Chinese lessons:
This is a 20 morning-lesson standard course combined with 4, 8 or 10 private afternoon lessons per week. The private lessons allow you to go thoroughly into grammar or any of your weak points. You can also choose to study different topics according to your level and in agreement with your teacher. Price for Combined Group + private lessons 20+4 package (2 - 24 weeks): 670 - 4570; Combined Group + private lessons 20+8: 800 - 6118; Combined Group + private lessons 20+10: 865 - 6892;
* Chinese business lessons:
As you know, one doesn't negotiate in English with Chinese partners. This course is ideally designed for you if your company is doing business with China or if you need to live or travel in China for your job. In addition to the 20 weekly morning standard lessons, you will attend 10 additional afternoon lessons that will meet your specific business language needs.
These lessons are very practical, realistic and flexible to adjust to your line of business. Your teacher, very experienced, will use case studies, role-plays, formal presentations and simulations to help you acquire the vocabulary and the ease to negotiate in Chinese in your specific field. Price for Combined Business course 20+10 (2 - 24 weeks): 1010 - 8660;
* Private One to One:
This is a private course designed for those of you who wishes to make the most of their Chinese course and learn at their own pace. Depending on your expectations, you can either apply for a 20, 25 or 30 private lesson course. Price for Private One to One 20 (2 - 4 weeks): 1010 - 1800; Private One to One 25 (2 - 4 weeks): 1220 - 2170; Private One to One 30 (2 - 4 weeks): 1370 - 2450;
* Private Two to One:
This is an ideal private course for you and your husband or wife, or one of your friend if you wish to learn Chinese with a teacher dedicated to yourselves only ! Depending on your expectations, you can either apply for a 20, 25 or 30 private lesson course. The price given is for 2 persons. Prices for Private Two to One 20 (2 students + teacher), (2 - 4 weeks): 1260 - 2260; Private Two to One 25 (2 students + teacher), (2 - 4 weeks): 1420 - 2620; Private Two to One 30 (2 students + teacher), (2 - 4 weeks): 1580 - 2930;
* HSK 6 week preparation course:
China's Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi, also known as HSK is a Chinese Proficiency Test, designed and developed by the HSK Center of Beijing Language and Culture University to assess the Chinese language proficiency of non-native speakers. If you wish to take the HSK test, this course is especially designed for you!
8 HSK preparation lessons per week (i.e. 2 afternoon lessons 4 days a week) during which you will be trained to the exam tests. This course must be coupled to morning classes such as the standard course. Price for HSK 6 week preparation course program is 432 (8 hours/week preparation course to be added to the core course);
* Work experience in a company:
This program offers you the opportunity to improve or refresh your knowledge in the Mandarin Chinese during a 4 week standard course. Then you will spend 4 to 8 weeks as a trainee in a Chinese company.
The placement fees include the research of the partner company corresponding as much as possible to your selection (it is not always possible to find a placement that matches exactly your choice), the follow-up and a certificate of completion of your experience in a Chinese company. As a trainee you will not be entitled to receive any salary or compensation. Price for this program is 1290 (930 standard course + 360 placement fees).

Our teachers, all native speakers, are holders of university degrees. They are qualified and experienced in teaching Chinese as a foreign language at all levels.

The brand new student residence is on the campus and offers superb facilities. Our classrooms are ideal for private lessons and small groups. The classrooms, furniture, language lab and computers are all new.
