Rome has also many theaters, cinemas, restaurants, clubs and markets it will be difficult to choose from.
Rome is a multi-layer unique capital, not only because another hidden city lies beneath today’s surface, but also because in Rome you will witness the abundance of various styles from different ages: from Roman to medieval architecture, from renaissance perfection to baroque splendor. Our school is situated in the center of Rome, in the pedestrian area, halfway from the astounding Piazza Navona, Castel S. Angelo and St. Peter Basilica. This area, typically Roman, abounds with charming cafes, shops, boutiques, libraries and a vibrancy found nowhere else in the city. The school is located in an attractive, elegant typical aristocratic building, where the decoration has some kinds of luxurious touches, with 12 spacious classrooms, full of light, a computer room with free Internet access, a video room, a conference room with capacity, lift, wheelchair accessible and central heating. It is one of the largest schools in Rome. The office of our school in Rome is open 10 hours a day (from 8 a.m to 7 p.m, Monday to Friday) , so that you can come whenever you want. The school is recognized by the following US Universities (with undergraduate credits): - California State University, Sacramento - Camino College - University of Colorado at Denver - Glendale Community College - Los Angeles Community College District - City College of San Francisco - San Francisco State University - Tahoe Community College - State University of New York at New Paltz - Our school collaborate with the Edgewood College (Madison, WI) and the Santa Barbara City College, whereby students registering with us may receive credits at those colleges. Since Edgewood College and Santa Barbara City College are higher educational institutions fully accredited in the United States, these credits will normally be transferable to most American colleges and universities. Courses: The Standard Course The Standard Course is held throughout the year on 6 (monthly) levels of ability. Duration: 1 to 24 weeks. The 4 lessons are held daily from Monday to Friday, usually beginning at 9am. If there are many participants the Standard Course may also be held in the afternoon at 2pm. There is a maximum of 12 students in each class. The Intensive Group Course This course is held throughout the year on 3 levels of ability. Duration: 1 to 24 weeks. The course consists of 6 lessons per day, which are held from Monday to Friday. Intensive Italian Language Course "Plus" 5 & 10 The Intensive Plus Course consists of the Standard Course Plus additional private lessons (one-to-one). The individual lessons are specifically designed for your specific needs. We offer two kinds of Intensive Plus Courses: - Intensive Plus-5 Course: 20 lessons of Standard Course and additional 5 private lessons per week; - Intensive Plus-10 Course: 20 lessons of Standard Course and additional 10 private lessons per week. La Dolce Vita +50 course: This course is specifically designed for mature students of any age. You will learn Italian in a pleasant and relaxing enviroment, accompanied by a wide variety of cultural activities. Duration: 1 or 2 weeks. Special starting dates. Italian Language and Culture Course "Italy Today": For students who want to learn Italian and at the same time become acquainted with the culture and history and the current social and political situation of their host country, we suggest to choose the "Italy Today" Course. In addition to the 4 lessons Standard Course in the morning, in the afternoon they will be introduced to art and culture, history and folklore, press and films as well as the current political and economic situation of Italy.
