Communication is one of our main concerns. Our small groups give you the possibility to speak frequently during a lesson. You will receive all the advantages of a small institution: effective learning in small groups, intensive exchange with your teacher and a staff of highly motivated instructors, as well as the benefits of a larger institution: a wide range of language courses and specialized instruction tailored to your needs. Our intensive courses meet the requirements of a visa. Below are some reasons for attending our classes: - Here you will learn in groups with max 7 people; - Learning in such small groups has got the advantage that you will learn effectively in a short time; - You will exercise continuously speaking, hearing understanding. Because of the close contact with the teacher you get currently “feed back “; - You will meet highly qualified teachers with teaching experience at well known institutions in Germany and abroad. Course levels: - Grundstufe (basic level) I - IV, - Mittelstufe (intermediate) I - IV, - Oberstufe (advanced). Our Courses: The Language Schools' courses take place either in the morning from 9 am to 1 pm or in the afternoon from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm. If there are less than 5 people, we reduce the lessons with your agreement. German Intensive Courses The 4 weeks intensive courses build up on each other. After attending one 4 weeks intensive course you will have been finished one level. At the end of a “Grundstufe”, “Mittelstufe” or “Oberstufe” you have got the prerequisites for passing an exam. The courses take place either in the morning from 9 am to 12:15 pm or in the afternoon from 1:45 pm to 5 pm. Evening Courses - this is the right choice for you if you want to study regularly for a longer period of time. Small groups, courses two time per week. Semester courses (4 to 7 participants): part I - 9 weeks (36 tuition lessons); part II - (9 weeks 36 tuition lessons). Semi-intensive courses - 9 weeks (72 tuition lessons). After attending the semester courses part I and part II or the semi-intensive course you will have been finished one level. Look at course structure Tuition time: 6 pm to 7:30 pm or 7:30 pm to 9 pm. Business German - the participants learn e.g.: to discuss about job-related subjects in German, to express themselves at meetings and presentations.One topic: inter-cultural differences. By request: Visits to companies, banks, institutions. Lectures about specific subjects such as marketing, communication, corporate identity, etc. Prerequisite: Intermediate Level II to III. Company Courses - training made-to-measure for specific needs of the management and staff of companies organised either in our institute or at the firm's premises. Topics/Emphasis: German at all levels, Business German, Business correspondence, the language of negotiations, phone training, scientific and economical topics. You can start at any time. Examinations We will prepare you for all international admitted degrees, developed by the Goethe Institut or the University: Zertifikat Deutsch (ZD) (following the Grundstufe IV) Zentrale Mittelstufenprüfung (ZMP) (following Mittelstufe III/IV). Preparation for the KDS Exam Kleines Deutsches Sprachdiplom (KDS) is a 4 week course (36 units), 2 week course (18 units) or one-week-course (12 units). Mini-group courses with 4 to 7 participants. Courses are held from Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Price: 348 Euro (4 week course), 174 Euro (2 week course) and 120 Euro (one week course). Exam Training Courses 4 weeks course (36 tuition units), from Monday, Wednesday, Friday (5:45 to 6:15 pm). 2 weeks course (18 tuition units), Monday, Wednesday, Friday (18 pm to 20:35 pm). Mini groups of 4 to 7 participants. Prerequisite for these exam training courses - having been finished "Mittelstufe". Accommodation The accommodation booked through us can be used, as a rule, from the Sunday preceding the start of the course (arrival in the afternoon/before evening meal) to the day following the end of the course (departure after breakfast/in the morning). Additional days are available on request for an extra charge. All rooms are single. Double rooms are limited and available on request. Private accommodation stands for: a single room in a private apartment with a host family or a landlord; a number of rooms can be rented in one apartment. In this case we see to it that all guests in the same apartment speak different languages. The apartments can be situated in the city center or in outlying districts/suburbs. In the latter case it could take one up to 60 minutes to get to Dialog. You can have lunch at the canteens of the universities from Monday to Friday.
