Courses
We offer several types of courses and skill-levels to meet your personal needs and enhance your learning experience. All classes are taught entirely in Spanish and have been prepared specifically for foreign students. Classes begin throughout the year. You choose the length of the course that best fits you. Because our students have a variety of backgrounds and special needs, we also offer a series of customized learning programs for exchange students, business executives and college students.
Crash course
Offers the basic content required to get around town and handle standard and emergency situations. This course is built around real-life contexts and situations you will meet during your stay in Buenos Aires. This fact will increase your learning curve and you will be prepared to speak and listen in most standard and emergency situations.
The content of the Crash course is based on 5 units of 3 hours each which introduce the student to the fundamental tools of the Spanish language. In order to facilitate the comprehension of the new foreign language, audio and video material as well exercise material are used. Every unit has been conceived to respond to a real-life situation.
Intensive Spanish course
Most of our students take courses from levels 1-5 which follow different communicational, grammatical and pragmatic objectives.

Level 6: for Spanish teachers
On every level, professors use a great variety of learning situations, mixing oral communication and listening comprehension using audio and video, text reading, etc. Every level has one part of its content dedicated to social, cultural and political life in Argentina and to Argentine and Latin-American history.
Spanish and Tango
Designed for students who want to combine learning Spanish and taking Tango classes. This offer includes: either personal or group Tango classes in one of the best Tango academies in town (5 times a week), Spanish classes (20 hours per week), the history of Tango and visits to typical Tango places in Buenos Aires.
Business Spanish
This course has been designed especially for us (by a university business professor), for students who would like to focus on Business Spanish. To participate in this course, you will need an intermediate level of Spanish (check the “intensive courses” program).
The aim is for our students to learn a maximum of Spanish business terminology, to understand Latin American business dealings and to get an insight into the Argentine economy. There is almost no focus on grammar skills, as these can be acquired separately in the general courses or additional private classes. Parts of the course are based on real case studies, which require prior preparation on behalf of the student and active class participation.
Spanish for exchange students
The objective of this course is to offer the exchange students the possibility to improve their Spanish level in order to be able to follow classes in their respective universities or schools.
Most of these students have some basic Spanish knowledge, but have not practiced for a long time and are not used to speaking the local “rioplatense” Spanish. That is why we offer them this intensive course, that lasts two weeks, in order for them to get up to speed with their listening comprehension, verbal expression and written expression. (One of the owners of the Academia knows very well how it feels to be an exchange student and what their special needs are, for having been one himself).
The course also includes an introduction to the Argentine lifestyle and a cultural, social, economic and political panorama of today’s Argentina. According to availability, we invite specialist researchers on each theme.

Accommodation
Accommodation is an essential part of our offering. We provide you with various accommodation possibilities during your stay in Buenos Aires. It’s up to you to choose if you prefer staying in a hostel, an apartment, a hotel or with an Argentine family.
Host family
Living with an Argentine family during your stay in Buenos Aires is a unique possibility to get to know our way of life: our habits, our food, our daily schedules, traditional Argentine hospitality and much more. It allows you to practice your Spanish in everyday situations, to improve your vocabulary, to improve your pronunciation and to get a feel for the use of certain expressions and phrases. Host family stays are the perfect way to truly learn and live the Porteño lifestyle.
Apartment
All you need for a comfortable stay. We are happy to organize and arrange apartment stays. Apartments are equipped to the highest standard, with all furniture and equipment necessary for a comfortable stay.
Hostel
A multicultural atmosphere. In a hostel students meet other students and backpackers of all nationalities and have a very multicultural atmosphere. People share experiences and stories from all over the world.
Hotel
You choose, we do the booking. There is a great variety of hotels of all imaginable categories, prices and qualities in Buenos Aires. If students provide us with their hotel preferences, we will make the necessary arrangements.
Faculty Information:
All of our staff are professional language teachers with relevant university degrees from top universities in Argentina. All of them are native speakers, of course. Most of them speak at least two other languages and have extensive experience in working with students from abroad.
Our academic coordinator’s objective is not only to coordinate classroom activities, but also to maintain our high teaching quality standards. All professors with relevant Masters degrees and specialized diplomas in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. All professors are enthusiastic about their job and have several years of experience each.

It would be a shame if we “only” taught you the Spanish language and neglected Argentina’s and Latin-America’s artistic, historic and literary legacy.

Facility Information:
The institute is located in downtown Buenos Aires, 50 yards off the historic Plaza de Mayo in the famous San Telmo district. We have excellent transport connections to all parts of town.
As most of central Buenos Aires, the Institute’s neighborhood is a very safe place, at day and night. It is close to major tourist attractions, theaters, cinemas and nightlife attractions. All our classrooms have air-conditioning and heating. Free broadband internet for students, and free coffee.

- Hostel - prices range from US$7 per day and higher.
- Hotel - prices range from US$12 per day upwards.
