* Teaching Philosophy: Free written and oral evaluations are given to each student before he or she begins classes. These evaluations determine the student’s individualized skill level and requirements. The student is then matched with their private master instructor, and a lesson plan is engineered to meet the student’s goals. The student is also evaluated at various stages of his or her program to ensure that his or her maximum potential is achieved. You can rely on our staff’s personal and conscientious attention to your needs.

Our Spanish teaching program is based on 20 hours of class work per week. Classes are generally held in the mornings with the afternoon free for recreation and most importantly, time to practice Spanish through immersion in the local culture. We emphasize conversation, reading, grammar, and the experience of real life Spanish situations. Once a week, classes are held in an "eco" environment such as a beach, a waterfall, a river… a Honduran "paraíso" (paradise). After class, a barbecue is served for lunch.

Students may choose to stay in a hotel or live with a local family (home stay). Either way, we make all the arrangements for you. The home stay includes room and board (3 meals a day for 7 days each week).

Faculty Information:
Our staff consists of select "maestros" (master professors) who are graduates of Honduran universities. Our Spanish programs are popular with business and medical professionals, engineers and research scientists, seeking accelerated and special vocabulary classes. Some students want a better understanding of Spanish to enable them to explore Honduras and other Latin American countries with greater independence.
