OUR COOKING COURSES are built around hands-on preparation – you learn by doing & tasting. Our menu concentrates on seafood and vegetables. We emphasize on information, which offers suggestions for substitute ingredients, where to buy, how to preserve so you can cook back home and get the right taste.
We believe every meal should be a visual feast. Therefore we have a range of plates, bowls and fresh organic materials to experiment with to create your own ”food art”. This is where our guests get a special grin and say, WOW! Look what I made! We offer both day and evening classes. You can participate from 1 day or take a 6 day course. Every day has a different cooking menu. Accommodation is also available in our 8 cozy bungalows.
Junie Kovacs is the owner, creator and daily manager of our company concept. She is a lifelong food enthusiast, noted graphic and conceptual designer, born in California who built her reputation in Norway where she lived for many years. Her work is known for its cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary surprises.
Junie speaks fluent English and Norwegian, and has been cooking Thai for 18 years and teaching for 7 years, both in Thailand and in Europe.
We have been recommended in 8 Guide Books (that we know of). All our staff has been praised for their service & friendliness.

Our ”scenery” is a three kilometers stretch of white sand backed by rain forest and jungle On the Island Koh Lanta in Southern Thailand, near Krabi and Phuket.
Our location has an open-air learning kitchen with a dining area, Restaurant - Beach Bar and 8 cozy Bungalows with free Wi-Fi connection. We are a blend of ”raw & modern” Scandinavian design with elements of local Thai materials.
