Our approach to teaching and learning English is essentially learner centered. Our teachers focus on your needs, your interests and your goals. Our teachers and counselors will check your progress throughout the course and make sure you are learning effectively.
- Careful appraisal and initial testing ensures that you are placed in the right level.
- Regular individual counseling with your teachers will monitor your progress throughout your course.
- Each class has a weekly review of course material.You will take a test to check your progress.
- The Director of Studies is available daily to meet with students and answer any questions about their program.
- The teachers and the administration are at your disposal to give you advice and practical guidance throughout your stay.
- Whichever course you choose, our close attention to quality and personal service will greatly help you progress in your studies.
There is a special program of study for each level and our grading system enables you to change to the next level when you are ready. There are eight levels of study:
- Beginner
- Elementary
- Pre-Intermediate
- Intermediate (2 levels)
- Upper Intermediate
- Advanced.
COURSE CONTENTS
Individual Counseling
Early in the course, the Director of Studies meets students individually in order to discuss their personal plans and objectives; individual counseling continues at intervals during the course. Students are given help and advice on how to learn, on the most suitable books and dictionaries, which examinations to prepare for and how to make the best use of their time inside and outside the school.
General English
A complete program in grammar, reading, writing and speaking. The course provides a varied curriculum with emphasis on effective communication for each student. Each group class has a maximum of 12 students. You can study a minimum of 2 weeks.
General Plus
This program includes the General English group classes and 2 private lessons a day with a teacher to work on your specific needs. In addition to the General English morning classes, your private lessons can be scheduled from 7:30am - 9:00am or from 2:00pm - 3:30pm Monday through Friday. These unique courses are for the busy professionals and business people with only a limited amount of time available for language training. Before starting the course you are asked to complete a special needs analysis which helps us to formulate a unique program tailored to your needs.
Specialty Courses
Weekend Immersion
For the busy professional who cannot take time away from business this course allows you to practice and perfect the English Language during weekends. The highly intensive courses are scheduled on Saturday and Sunday and include business breakfasts and lunches. Hours are 8:30am - 5:30pm Saturday and Sunday. This course is offered twice a month.
Private lessons
These may be added to any of the above courses or can be taken separately. They are scheduled at your convenience and may be held at our academy or at your place of business.
English for Tourism
A topical, practical course for participants working or interested in working in the tourism industry, as well as people who wish to use their English for travel. The special topics include terminology for travel agents and airlines, restaurants and hotel reservations and cancellations etc. This 4 week, half day program combines General English and travel related classes. An intermediate level of English is required.
The Ambassador Club
A course designed for the mature adult who wants to study English and participate in sight-seeing excursions, dinners and cultural activities. This is a 2-week, 20 lesson per week, program.

ACCOMMODATION
Hotels
Reservations will be made for you at hotels, many of which are only a few minutes from the Academy. We offer a wide selection of hotels at a wide range of prices. Students can choose from a variety of different locations from the beach, to the city, to the shopping districts.
Apartments
These are located within easy reach of the Academy and offer single or double occupancy. The Academy does not arrange roommates for shared apartment. These self-catering units feature totally equipped kitchen facilities for your convenience.
Home-Stay
You can stay with an American host in order to practice your English during your free-time and week-ends. Our home-stay providers are carefully chosen and they enjoy hosting international participants. You can stay with a family or with a single host. The residences are within a 5 -miles radius from the school. Once we receive your application, we shall send you a profile of your host.

We have wonderful highly qualified teachers & classroom spaces to help you acquire and learn the English language in dynamic settings.
Other Activities:
Our comfortable school is located in a modern building in Down-Town Fort Lauderdale, only a short distance from the beaches, banks, museums, and cafes.

Our state-of-the-art Media Lab includes TV/VCRs, language-learning software and CD-Rom facilities for individual and class use. Thanks to our courses, the self-access Media Center and our lively social program of activities and excursions, we are sure you will make the most of your stay in Fort-Lauderdale and learn English better and faster.
Our classes are small and carefully graded. The maximum number of students in an Executive Course is 5 and there is a maximum of 12 students in a General English class. This rule applies to all daily courses. All courses are multinational and English is always the means of communication with the teachers and with other students.
