TasteDC creates exciting wine and food events for the lifestyle generation. We've been producing wine tastings and festivals for the past five years, so we know what you the consumer wants: fun events that mix tasting great wine with food and entertainment. In fact, our events are a non-intimidating way to learn about wine in a sophisticated but casual setting. Our events are perfect for beginners who just want to taste or more advanced wine people who want to get current on the wine scene. Like our motto says: "If It's Taste, We Have It!"
Love the idea of entertaining, but think you don’t have the time or the skills to impress your guests? Join TasteDC and Chef Danielle Neal for this demonstration class where you’ll learn to create a fast and fabulous buffet of finger foods for your next party using a combination of fresh and prepared ingredients.
Chef Danielle Neal graduated from L’Academie de Cuisine, the Washington area’s premier culinary school, in 2002. She most recently worked with French chef Robert Greault in the kitchen at La Colline, a restaurant honored as one of Washington’s best 100 restaurants for more than 10 years. You will also learn basic recipes that can easily be changed with a different seasonal fruit, new sauce, or slight enhancement of ingredients! Detailed recipes are included, as well as plentiful heavy hors d'oeuvres served with wine!.
