We are a small, select English Language school and a certified teacher training center. We offer standard and flexible General English courses, as well as Business and Specialist programs in our year-round adult center. We also have summer programs for juniors and teenagers.
We are based in a charming traditional Irish building at the edge of Schull village in beautiful southwest Cork. We have the best of both worlds - a peaceful location, an ideal learning environment, and both the Atlantic and the village just a minute's walk away.

Schull Language School gets English Validation
Following a recent rigorous inspection by Trinity College London, our School of English and Active Leisure in Schull has been validated as an approved center to host their four-week intensive Cert TESOL course.
Faculty Information:
West Cork is very rich in folklore and history. The region has a very strong archaeological heritage. Early Christian sites and numerous ruined castles tell the region's fascinating history. The Great Famine of the 1850s has also left many reminders & visitors can learn more about Michael Collins & the Civil War years at his birthplace in West Cork.

The Irish love to talk and the friendly people of Schull are no exception! There is a strong community life in Schull and visitors always receive a warm welcome. Our students get to know the real life of the village & lifestyles of the people by staying with local host families. All the hotels, hostels and guest houses are family run and very close to the village center. Beautiful holiday cottages by the sea can also be rented. Here the living is easy. An ideal setting to relax, learn and practice your English. The only thing that moves fast in Schull is the progress students make - particularly in listening & speaking skills.

Our teachers' homes are very comfortable and usually located in a place of scenic beauty in magical West Cork. You can have 'One to One' tuition or come with a friend, family member or colleague for our 'Two to One' experience. Micro-Groups of maximum 4 can also be catered for by special arrangement.
