We are an organization that has been working on social and ecological projects along with rural communities from the San Carlos - Costa Rica area for ten years.
For six years, we have also offered the service of a School of Spanish as a second language and volunteer programs for foreigners. Learn Spanish in a private ecological reserve near Arenal Volcano, Costa Rica. Our Spanish Institute, a Spanish language school in Costa Rica, offers different programs of instruction in the Spanish language. Spanish lessons are provided at different levels: beginners-advance. Students receive personalized attention, warm human environment, study abroad in the rainforest, no pollution.

We are an organization that has been working on social and ecological projects along with rural communities from the San Carlos area for ten years. For six years, we have also offered the service of a School of Spanish as a second language and volunteer programs for foreigners.
These two help us support our different projects which are aimed to make people and communities aware of everything they have to improve the quality of their personal, family and community life as well as their environment.
In order to achieve our goals, we give ecological lectures, organize community reunions and promote the creation of groups of Scouts in the rural communities as one more resource to promote values in girls and boys. We also place signs on the side of the roads which have messages oriented to the bringing up of ethics and of a feeling of fraternity towards nature.
We work as a rescue center for wild animals and cooperate in the building of rural projects. Our headquarters are located in a rural area, inside a private ecological reserve. This allows our participants to have a total social and ecological immersion.

Volunteer Programs
Be part of our social and naturalist volunteer workers, exploring, creating, discovering, sharing your native language in a rural elementary school or taking care of animals in Wildlife Rescue Center.

- Teaching English in a rural elementary school and spending the break time as a child
- Participate in construction projects in the community or in our ecological private reserve
- Be an artist creating handicrafts with a local group
- Enjoy elaborating banana's paper and help us to save the forest
- Taking care of animals in our Wildlife Rescue Center is a great opportunity for the fauna lovers

Learning at it’s best: Experience a different culture and lifestyle:
You will stay with a local family in the small rural village Javillos de San Carlos in the northern region of Costa Rica. Here you will be able to experience a different culture and lifestyle as you get to know your host family and village life.
Learn Spanish:
The children will learn Spanish while exploring the beautiful natural setting of the school with its animals and tropical plants at the edge of a small river. The teachers have experience working with children of all ages.
Learn about the environment and make a difference:
You and your family will learn about environmental issues and concerns, endangered plants and animals. You will have the opportunity to participate in different volunteer programs such as:
- Help at the animal rescue center;
- Visit and do volunteer work at the Children’s Eternal Rainforest;
- Plant seeds for a reforestation project.

We recommend bringing 50% in traveler's checks and 50% in cash. Credit cards are accepted in major stores and hotels only. VISA is the preferred card, local banks do not accept MasterCard or other credit cards.
