WE WOULD LIKE TO INVITE YOU TO COOK WITH US NOT ONLY TUSCAN FOOD BUT WHAT WE CALL "CUCINA POVERA", CERTAINLY NOT POOR COOKING BUT THE SUM OF YEARS OF OLD TRADITIONAL FAMILY COOKING. ALL OF US ARE FAMILIAR WITH BOTH EASY TRADITIONAL RECIPES AND MORE SOPHISTICATED ONES. WE WILL ADAPT THE CLASSES TO YOUR LEVEL OF EXPERTISE AND FIT WITH YOUR INDIVIDUAL WISHES WHENEVER
POSSIBLE. WINE AND OLIVE OIL TASTINGS TOGETHER WITH A GUIDED VISIT TO A LIVELY MARKET WILL COMPLETE YOUR CULINARY ADVENTURE. THE PROGRAM STARTS ON MONDAY WITH THE WINE TASTING AND CONTINUES ON TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. PARTICIPANTS COOK IN DIFFERENT KITCHENS EXPERIENCING DIFFERENT HOUSES, THE HOMES OF THE TUTTI ATAVOLA LADIES.

OUR CLASSES GIVE PARTICIPANTS A FULL OUTLOOK ON TUSCAN AND ITALIAN HOME COOKING. EACH DAY A BOOKLET IN ENGLISH OF THE RECIPES THAT WILL BE PREPARED IS GIVEN TO THE PARTICIPANTS WHO BECOME ACQUAINTED WITH EACH COOK, HER HERITAGE AND SPECIAL DISHES. WE ARE OPEN TO REQUESTS AND SUGGESTIONS AND WHENEVER POSSIBLE MEET WITH THE PARTICIPANTS' WISHES: THE REPERTOIRE OF RECIPES IS CONSTANTLY RENEWED TO PLEASE THE MANY REPEATERS.

THE FIVE MAMMA'S ARE ALWAYS AT THE DISPOSAL OF THEIR GUESTS TO ADVICE THEM ABOUT SIDE TRIPS, VISITS, EVENTS IN THE AREA. RADDA, CASTELLINA, GAIOLE IN CHIANTI, PANZANO AND GREVE ARE DELIGHTFUL VILLAGES WITH NUMBERLESS OF INTERESTING BOUTIQUES, WORKSHOPS AND ENOTACAS (WINE BARS). MANY FARMS, WINE AND OLIVE OIL FARMS CAN BE VISITED AND THINGS ARE OFTEN MADE EASIER FOR OUR GUESTS BECAUSE WE ALL HAVE MANY PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS.

CLASSES ARE HELD EACH DAY IN A DIFFERENT KITCHEN, IN A DIFFERENT HOUSE, TO ALLOW OUR GUESTS TO EXPERIENCE THE DIFFERENT HOMES. FULLY EQUIPPED, THE KITCHENS HAVE ALL THE CHARM OF HISTORIC HOMES. DINNERS, AFTER THE HANDS-ON CLASSES, ARE HELD IN THE LOVELY DINING ROOMS WHOSE WALLS ARE CENTURIES OLD. GUESTS SHOULD HAVE THEIR OWN CAR TO MOVE FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. FULL INFORMATION ABOUT THE VENUES IS GIVEN UPON ARRIVAL.

THE COST OF THE CULINARY PROGRAM IS ALWAYS 450,00 EURO PER PERSON. THE COST OF ACCOMMODATION VARIES DEPENDING ON THE SELF CONTAINED VILLA OR APARTMENT CHOSEN BY THE GUEST. ALL THE COOKS' RENTAL UNITS ARE LOVELY BUT THEY CERTAINLY DIFFER (LOCATION, PRIVATE TERRACES, GARDENS, SWIMMING POOL ETC ETC).
