Our school - you will learn how to make delicate flavors emerge from seasonal products, conceive a surprising market menu, invent light mousses or create sweet delicacies. You will also learn how to cook original recipes that you can easily reproduce at home. You will be able to take an active part in the class, and thanks to our chef, pick up the knack of it as you learn all the tips.
- French pastry: Let’s plunge into the special and tasty world of French pastry. You will put your shoulder to the wheel, and acting on your pastry chef’s advice, you will learn in no time how to make original desserts such as financiers, star anise or peach clafoutis, chocolate, nut or lime and raspberry tarts.
- The product of the season: During the class, you will discover different ways of cooking the same product and how to reach a wide and surprising taste range. You will travel through seasons and French regions, and explore products like the asparagus, scallops, wild mushrooms or berries!
- Mousse: Thanks to our teacher’s tips, you will be able to realize light and aesthetic mousses presented in beautiful votives. Our chef will help you in the creation of sweet mousses such as rhubarb and strawberry, mascarpone and seven spices, or three chocolates; or savory mousses like carrot, cumin, avocado, prawn and grapefruit, or broccoli stilton and coriander.
- The market menu: At the end of the class, you will know how to prepare an original menu, from shopping advice to specific techniques, including subtle dressings and cooking secrets. You will realize gastronomic recipes such as a vegetable mille feuilles à la provençale with basil and crab, a courgette cream with olive toasts, green asparaguses with a mousseline sauce, or a caramelized piece of lamb with fennel and onions.

Our school also provides classes of tasting sessions, table settings as well as French elegance. Wine, champagne, cheese, chocolate, cigars and spirits need to be tasted with passion. Through our classes, you will learn how to savor, compare, understand and appreciate these pleasures. Thanks to our experts' instructions, you will discover how to taste like a great connoisseur. The workshops take place in comfortable locations which are adapted to commented tasting sessions.
Table Design - in this class, you will learn how to create a unique atmosphere and stage your interior. You will be invited to give free rein to your imagination. The main thing is to understand a few basic rules concerning table design: classic, contemporary, or original table design will change according to the party theme, season, guests' characters, or simply your mood.
French Etiquette - "Etiquette" is the result of cultural and historical evolution. La Belle Ecole invites you to travel through the traditions and to learn the current decorum rules. You will be taught how to correctly introduce yourself, express yourself, thank people and will have fun reliving everyday situations in a different light. The class covers all aspects of French specificities.
Personal Shopping - our trendy designers and interior decorators will help you find the best for you and your home. You will be escorted from famous fashion houses to the most unusual shops where you will discover renowned decoration brands and French designers. This course is given individually or in small groups to create a sense of intimacy with the personal shopper.
Facility Information:
The classes are of course in French, but also in English and in Japanese if you wish to. Our cooking atelier is the perfect association between a modern architecture and a traditional savoir-faire.
