Faculty Information:
Your teacher, a member of the Gastronomic Society, will demonstrate how to prepare a complete menu- two main courses and dessert, based on traditional Basque recipes and followed by a complete lunch - not just a tasting, of all the prepared dishes, accompanied by Rioja D.O. wine from the nearby province of La Rioja.
Other Activities:
Tapas Tours, Tasting, week-long cooking tours to “untouched by time” regions, 4 day culinary adventures to the most exciting culinary destinations in Spain, one-day culinary excursions to discover flavors and products that can hardly be found in other European countries.
Facility Information:
The classes take place in an authentic "Sociedad Gastronomica"- Gastronomic Society, located in the old center of this elegant city. Some of them are still men-only cooking clubs-although not this one, fortunately, where Basques share their good humor, songs and kitchen wisdom, as they have done for centuries. A very special venue only possible in the Basque Country!.
Alternatively, the lesson can be held at a well-known private professional cooking school, depending on the size of the group.
