We are a Spain-based company highly specialized in the design and organization of culinary programs for the international traveler. Faculty Information:
Your private class will be guided by Pilar Latorre, a Catalan cooking instructor who abandoned her former profession as a lawyer to become exclusively devoted to her main passion in life: cooking.

This solid vocation was matched with years of first-class training at some of the best cooking schools in Europe (e.g. Cordon Bleu in Paris), and courses at the most prestigious restaurants in Spain and France.

Apart from an active chef, Pilar is also a veteran worldwide traveler; one of her favorites is Asia, where she acquired deep knowledge of Asian cuisine, inspiring her personal fusion cooking.

She is a usual attendant to the most reputed culinary congresses, as well as good friend of many of the master chefs who are bringing Spain’s Nueva Cocina front and center in the world’s culinary scene.

Tapas Tours, Tasting, week-long cooking tours to “untouched by time” regions, 4 day culinary adventures to the most exciting culinary destinations in Spain, one-day culinary excursions to discover flavors and products that can hardly be found in other European countries

Facility Information:
This avant-garde cooking class takes place at the cooking teacher´s private home, an ancient apartment in the heart of Madrid, beautifully restored, where she has her professional kitchen, classroom and smart dinning room where to enjoy lunch or dinner of the prepared dishes accompanied by a good wine.

We asked Pilar to design an exclusive class based on the recipes of some of Spain’s most prestigious chefs. In line with her Catalan roots, she chose several dishes from Ferrá Adriá and Santi Santamaría (both of them boasting 3 Michelin stars). This may seem quite a challenge if you’re not an expert, but don’t be mistaken. Pilar will teach you how to prepare a full meal based on these signature dishes, but there is no professional equipment involved; everything is thought out so you can prepare them on your own… and make a fantastic impression on everyone back home!
