Metsovo is one of the best and most well known villages, located on the Pindos mountains, near Ioannina and Meteora.
Home of the Averof wines and Metsovone cheese, a place where one can find the warmth of a traditional Greek village with crystal clear waters, fascinating nature and of course excellent food,.
Ideal for the watercolorist, as one can find a great variety of subjects from traditional houses and exciting ruins, mountain landscapes or rocky mountains, even a couple of lakes on the mountains!!

Arrival of artists. Meeting in Metsovo.
Walk in Metsovo, sightseing. Dinner.
Day 2.
Breakfast. Workshop session (9.30-13.30). Meal. Free time. Evening evaluation session and talk. Demonstration by instructors. Dinner.
Day 3.
Breakfast. Workshop session (9.30-13.30). Meal. Free time. Visit to the Averoff Gallery. Evening evaluation session and talk. Dinner.
Day 4.
Breakfast. Workshop session (9.30-13.30). Meal. Free time. Workshop session (17.00-19.30). Evening evaluation session and talk. Dinner.
Day 5.
Breakfast. Visit to Ioannina and its lake. Painting till 13.00. Visit to the island of Kyra Frosyni. Meal. Painting till about 17.00. Return to Metsovo. Evaluation session and talk. Dinner.
Day 6.
Breakfast. Visit to Meteora, Kalampaka. Painting session till the afternoon (picnic). Return to Metsovo. Dinner.
Day 7.
Breakfast. Workshop session (9.30-13.30). Meal. Free time. Workshop session (17.00-19.30). Evening evaluation session and talk. Dinner.
Day 8.
Breakfast. Workshop session (9.30-13.30). Meal. Free time. Workshop session (17.00-19.30). Evening evaluation session and talk. Dinner.
Day 9.
Breakfast. Workshop session (9.30-13.30). Meal. Free time. Workshop session (17.00-19.30). Evening evaluation session and talk. Dinner.
Day 10.
Breakfast. Exhibition of workshop paintings. Evaluation of workshop. Awards; two award winners are given an original instructor watercolor, plus receive 50% discount for next workshop). Meal. End of workshop.
Other Activities:
For non painter participants (and painters in free time)
· Modern Greek lessons; learn the basics and how to communicate in Greece!
· Traditional Greek cooking basics.
· How to create an "yfanto" (traditional sawing).

· Two signed and numbered prints from each artist - overall value of over 300 USD.
In the room TV a channel will be devoted to constantly playing videos with painting demonstrations, so even free time in the hotel can be of use.
Selected TV satellite channels will be included in room TV sets for American / English or French speaking participants.
