Language Programs are held at Chianti, all year round upon request. The language study is customized to suit the students – either a traditional approach of grammar & vocabulary for those who like a structured approach, or often a more relaxed, conversational style of learning, perhaps over a glass of Chianti wine in the garden in summer, or over a coffee around the fireplace in winter.
Do not expect to be closed in a classroom, your lesson will be out where real Italian life is, where everything happens. During the lessons particular emphasis is given to the use of the language and therefore to conversation and to the introduction of a lot of new vocabulary. Of course, some attention is also given to grammar. The study program is organized on the basis of the student’s initial knowledge of the language and on the end result desired. Maximum attention is given to language and specific necessities and terminologies.
Everyday of lesson is different, for instance:
Your teacher will come to pick you up at your hotel or homestay or apartment and start your program. Sipping a “Cappuccino” in a nice typical café we start our lesson of Italian vocabulary and grammar
You meet your teacher in front of the beautiful S. Croce church, we visit it and then grammar lesson, drinking an aperitif or a glass of wine. You can combine a Cooking or Art program and a Language program in the same week.
Lessons are held by a highly-qualified, mother-tongue teacher. Up-to-date, authentic material, videos and cassettes are used. In this way people receive the maximum attention to their specific necessities, such as knowledge of specific terminologies.
It is possible to organize this program as:
Individual Program
Individual lessons of 2, 3, 4 or 6 hours a day, planned according to the student's personal needs.
Mini group
Mini group lessons for 2 or 3 persons, with friends or relatives, planned according to the students' personal needs. Lessons are held all year round upon request.

Faculty Information:
Your teacher is an Italian language professional, fluent in English. You will enjoy your lessons in different places, always with your teacher who is an Italian who has been living in Florence for many years and knows its hidden secrets.
Other Activities:
We also have Italian Cooking classes and Wine Group Course. The hands-on course covers traditional, home-style Tuscan and Italian recipes. We cook in a classic private apartment in central Florence to allow students to see a little of how a typical Italian family live, and to allow people to step out before &after class to see world-heritage sites such as the Duomo or take a bus ride up to the beautiful hill station of Fiesole.
