Thanks to the collaboration with NABA (New Academy of Fine Arts and Design), we are able to offer our students the possibility of attending a semester inside a recognized University of Arts, choosing between one of the following areas:
- Art
- Italian Design
- Italian Fashion
- Restoration.
Italian Plus Art Semester Courses: Art (only in Milan) - this course is aimed at those who wish to discover hidden talents, to develop their critical sense and to further their artistic ability. The student can choose freely between subjects associated with the visual arts, such as painting, drawing and photography. A high importance is placed on the practical painting courses that concentrate on the principal painting techniques. All the practical lessons are held in modern, well-equipped studios where students are supported at every step on the search for their own personal style.
Italian Plus Art Semester Courses: Italian Design - in the school of product design the student has the opportunity to learn the main characteristics of the modern design culture and to develop their professional capacities. Supplementing the general courses, students can choose between the four areas of specialization: Art and Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Exhibition Design. Visual Culture and Design History, Technology, Materials and Tools, Theory and Method of Photography are just some of the numerous subjects covered by the design courses.
Italian Plus Art Semester Courses: Italian Fashion
Due to the variety of the courses and subjects students can choose the right combination according to their capacities and requirements. Among the proposed subjects are Fashion and Costume History, Fabric Design, Fashion Design and Planning, Fashion Accessories and Jewelry Design. By discovering the meaning of the word “fashion” and the various aspects that influence it, students are quickly able to learn the main techniques of the elaboration of models and fabrics. The courses are designed in such a way as to provide the students with a solid theory base supported by practical exercises in the studio.
Italian Plus Art Semester Courses: Restoration
In the restoration studio students can choose between the following areas: pictorial restoration (cloth, panel, frescos), wood restoration, ceramic and stone restoration, tapestry and rug restoration, paper restoration and decoration. Class numbers are kept to a minimum and taught by highly qualified teachers. The aim is to develop the practical ability of the students.

During your stay you may wish to practise your favorite sport or learn a new one.
You have the following opportunities:
- gymnastics/fitness/yoga, swimming, jogging, tennis, squash, golf, horse-riding, biking and so on. Our guides for all athletic activities will help you organize your free time.
The cities and their surroundings offer a nearly unlimited variety of leisure activities, which you might undertake on your own. We offer some leisure activities ourselves and organize on a regular basis:
- dinners, which enable teachers and students to get to know each other better;
- guided art history visits;
- film evenings at school;
- half-and full-day excursions;
- mountain-bike tours;
- visit to a wine cellar;
Every month our schools distribute their own calendars of culture activities.This way you will always be well informed concerning exhibitions, concerts, films and other events. Your stay in Italy should be memorable not solely on account of the language course.
Facility Information:
Before starting these courses, students have to attend a language course for a minimum duration of 4 weeks to reach the level necessary to enter in the Art classes. The following language requirements are for beginners:
- Oriental and Middle Eastern students: 480 lessons of standard language course;
- Students from UK, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand: 400 lessons of standard language course;
- Other European students: 320 lessons of standard language course;
- Spanish, Portuguese and South American students: 160 lessons of standard language course.
The standard language course of 4 weeks consists of 80 lessons. The Art courses have a duration of 12 weeks and consist of 144 lessons.
