I am very happy to present a retreat featuring Priscilla Bianchi who is mentioned in the October issue of County Living Magazine. Her quilt “Stretched Diamond Star” that was shown at the Houston International Quilt Show is featured. Priscilla is a fabric designer and quilter from the beautiful country of Guatemala. Her wild sense of color is so exciting and stimulating and she is a teacher that loves to have fun. If you join us for this retreat I guarantee that you will have a great time.
This retreat will appeal to confident beginners and to advanced quilters. She calls it the “Fabric Made Me Do It” and Priscilla will present time saving tips, accurate techniques and touch on the principles of design. She will inspire you to listen to the fabric, be daring, take risks and experiment with different fabrics and textures. Create a fabric collage, and build confidence to go beyond traditional. “Try it, you'll like it". A beautiful Fabric Kit will be included.
Faculty Information:
Sewing Machines are available for rent $50.00 per retreat. We cannot guarantee the brand name of the machine only that it will be recently serviced and in good working order. Ironing boards and irons will be provided.
