Cocktail the first evening, 7 dinners in typical Tuscan restaurants (wine included), 6 days of lessons (acrylic colors, brushes, paper, canvases, use of painting boards, French easels and chairs included), including art appreciation course in the evening, visits to two museums with Tuscan paintings in the town of Sienna: Palazzo Publico (City Palace) and Piccolomini Library inside the Cathedral with frescos of Pintoricchio, entrances to gardens of villas and castles where we will be painting and transportation to our daily painting locations: including most beautiful castle of Tuscany "Castello di Brolio" of Barone Riccasoli family and most spectacular villas as "Villa Cetinale" of Lord Lambton...
Faculty Information:
Tjasa Demsar is organizing and holding her workshops since 1996. She has an international backgrownd, lived, studied and worked in many countries as Italy, France, the Netherlands, England and US. Besides holding painting workshops she is also an internationally acclaimed artist as well as a buisness woman, owning a villa in the Wine Country of Slovenia where she has a Bed & Breakfast and an Artist retreat.
Other Activities:
Non painters are invited to join us for dinners, excursions and evening art appreciation course.
Facility Information:
We will be staying in a 4 star hotel: Villa Scacciapensieri. A marvellous 19 th century Villa where one can relax and enjoy the true Tuscany. The Villa is surrounded by its own large park and gardens.
Single rooms are from 130 Euro, double rooms from 180 Euro breakfast included.
