Frankfurt, business capital of the Federal Republic of Germany, is a city open to the world, full of ancient traditions and determined to become one of Europe’s trade centers. However, is not all about money! Did you know that the University of Frankfurt was founded in 1914? It was indeed named after the city’s most famous son, Goethe, Germany’s worldwide-known writer. Its opera house, its theaters and museums make Frankfurt one of Germany’s top cultural and scientific metropolis. In short, Frankfurt is a young, active city full of life, expecting to be discovered.
Since its establishment in 1995 our academia has specialized in German courses for foreign students. The school is located in Bockenheim, one of Frankfurt’s most exciting neighborhoods, next to the university campus. Our school offers courses for beginners as well as for advanced students of several levels. Frankfurt am Main is renown for its international and open-minded inhabitants. You won't have problems to get in contact with them in order to practice the German language and culture! Our standard-courses are intended for those who want to improve their general knowledge of the German language. They take place two or three times a week and at different times; therefore, we are sure that our students will find a course that best suits their needs. Groups vary between 3 and 8 students, what guarantees a quality teaching. Moreover, all our teachers are native speakers and have a vast experience in teaching German as a foreign language. We are also pleased to offer Intensive courses for beginners as well as for advanced students of German of several levels. These courses are intended for those who want to learn the German language in an intensive way. The student can choose between 4-hours/day or 6-hours/day courses depending on their needs and motivation. In any of the cases, the intensive work in relation to grammar, vocabulary, oral and writing expression guarantees a rapid progress. Courses take place from Monday to Friday in the mornings, and the groups vary from 3 to 8 people and from 4 to 6 daily teaching hours (45 minutes each). German intensive courses for students without a previous knowledge (Grundstufe 1) begin the first Monday of every month. The students with previous knowledge can start their course any Monday of the year. Private lessons are the best option for those who want to enjoy a personalized teaching, since the teacher can focus on the precise needs and weaknesses of the student. Flexibility is another great advantage of these lessons. The student can choose the day, hour and even place of the classes. This is, without doubt, the best method for those who cannot attend a course regularly. We also offer preparatory courses for the DSH-exam.
