For climbers, ages 8 to 11, this 1 week program begins by teaching campers to keep themselves and each other safe in the gym. After establishing the basics, we sneak a little education in here and there while they climb like crazy! On the last day of camp, we hold "The Great Show-Off." Parents and friends are invited to watch, listen, and learn as the children demonstrate their new skills!
Faculty Information:
The climbers at M14651 are real people, laid back, friendly, and helpful. No posing or posturing here. Some of us are here for physical fitness, some for the camaraderie, some to prepare for outdoor climbing, but we're all here to climb and learn for the pure pleasure of it. If you don't have climbing partners yet, no worries, you will soon enough. We also know that routes make the gym. At every level climbers deserve excellent training opportunities. You will always find countless, exquisitely crafted routes and problems to work on.
