From time to time, instructors at M14651 may approach parents with an invitation for their child to join a team. If you have been approached, it means that we see qualities in your child or teen that suggest to us that he or she may be a good fit for a youth team. if we missed observing your young climber, please just ask any instructor for feedback.
M14651 Team practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5pm to 6:30pm. We hope that you can attend both practices every week. However, we are also acutely aware that families are busy. We ask that you train at least once per week with the team. Then, choose at least one other day per week to train independently.
The competitive climbing season follows the academic school year, but we train year-round. Interested climbers may join at any time. Many, but not all, members of the team choose the competitive circuit. Whichever you prefer, If you have the drive and the commitment to learn for yourself, you'll become a strong climber.
We offer a FREE two-week trial membership on the team, so you can check us out, risk free. During this period, Coach Adrian Prelipceanu will observe your initial climbing style, and offer you feedback.
Faculty Information:
The climbers at M14651 are real people, laid back, friendly, and helpful. No posing or posturing here. Some of us are here for physical fitness, some for the camaraderie, some to prepare for outdoor climbing, but we're all here to climb and learn for the pure pleasure of it. If you don't have climbing partners yet, no worries, you will soon enough. We also know that routes make the gym. At every level climbers deserve excellent training opportunities. You will always find countless, exquisitely crafted routes and problems to work on.

Facility Information:
Team members are expected to obtain their own climbing equipment and climbing shoes, but can rent gear at a discount until they get their own. Other perks include outdoor climbing with Coach Adrian when they have earned the privilege, and the opportunity to earn "Team M14651 Bucks" that they can spend on climbing gear.
Notes:
Team fees are $100 per month. Fees include unlimited access to climbing in the gym. If your child attends a summer camp with us, there is NO CHARGE for training during the month in which the camp session is offered. Additionally, teenage Team M14651 climbers pay only $5 for After Hours Teen Night admission.
