Maine Fishing Vacation Rentals.

There are 15 spacious cottages nestled amongst the trees, with enough space surrounding them to ensure your privacy. Each of these rustic cottages have either an open brick or Franklin fireplace. After all, what's more enjoyable after a day of fishing than relaxing by an open fire?

To add to your comfort, our vacation rentals have screened porches, a bath with bathroom heater and a very cozy bedroom. These rustic cottages are attractive with tasteful antiques, but feature modern amenities and comfortable beds.

Every day, our maids make the beds and tidy up your cabin, while our cabin boy ensures you have plenty of fresh ice to keep cool and ample wood and kindling to keep warm. Special attention has been paid to selecting the finest box springs and mattresses for your bed, so you can rest assured of having a terrific night of sleep.

The Main Lodge: The center of our Maine Fishing Camp, and one of the largest structures in all of Grand Lake Stream, our Main Lodge grandly welcomes you from the street. With a basketball and tennis court adjacent to camp as well as areas for croquet and horseshoes, there are a number of outdoor activities here to help you unwind after a busy day.

Inside the Main Lodge, you'll find a collection of books and a piano. Our comfortable and relaxing closed porch is an inviting place to share a cup of tea with family and friends while watching the sun set. As evening rolls around, our roaring fireplace in the main lodge is the most popular after-dinner spot to gather with friends and other fishermen to swap stories of the day's success.

The Dining Room: Glancing upwards in the large early American dining room, you'll notice the original tin ceiling, and few guests can resist an investigation of the variety of game fish which are mounted on the walls, each with its own terrific story. Breakfast and dinner are served at your private table, while lunch, either a picnic box or hot cook-out, is provided upon request. The cook-out is prepared by your guide, and is an experience you will long remember.

As for breakfast and dinner, we feed hungry fishing families fresh-baked breads, fish chowder, roast turkey and lobster dinners, with a signature strawberry-rhubarb pie for dessert. We're glad to cook what you catch any way you like it! A bounty of homemade breads, rolls, pies and pastries are baked daily to accompany the delicious meals prepared by our chef.

We take great pride in the quality of our food, and we promise that you'll leave here with a deep appreciation of our New England-style cooking.

This is the ideal spot for your next company retreat! Get away from it all, but stay in touch. Our office is complete with telephone and fax provided for your convenience. Bring your laptop and modem so you can send and receive email here in the deep Maine woods. Here at our place, you can choose how remote you want to be!
