We fish for the migrating runs of all five species of Pacific salmon. With our focus mainly on the large Chinook, we also catch the acrobatic Coho/Silver salmon as well as Sockeye, Pink, and Chum.
We have kept our operation at Coastal Springs small in order to provide an intimate, family style atmosphere. We emphatically reject the high capacity “people farm” model of operation as we only take 8 guests at a time.
The lodge is appointed with 5 comfortable guest rooms featuring twin beds and sinks, three full service washrooms with shower, a common dining/living area, and very large deck space.
Our chef prepares all meals from scratch and the menu is an ever-changing assortment of fresh caught seafood, meat, and vegetarian dishes. The culinary experience at the lodge is simply second to none. Nothing quite feels as satisfying as an incredible meal after a long day on the water slaying fish.
We use 17 and 18 ft fiberglass boats manufactured by Double Eagle and Hourston Glascraft. These vessels are designed specifically for the waters we navigate and are very comfortable for those long outings. Each boat is equipped with 2 Yamaha outboard motors, soft-top, VHF radio, GPS, depth sounders, and all safety equiptment.
All fishing gear and bait is provided and rigged by our expert guides, giving you more time to watch the rod. Every guide has slightly different taste in gear and technique, but we all troll using Scotty downriggers, and single action reels, adding an increased level of excitement to the fight!
Nearby attractions and activities:
There is world class wildlife viewing where we are. There are orcas, humpback whales, black bears, grizzlys, and other wildlife just around the corner from our floating lodge.
