It was the biggest producer of silver ore in the Middle Ages and the city is considered as „small Prague“. An interesting activity is to take a tour of the old silver mines as far as six floors below ground.This place is as well known for the famous bone church in Sedlec by Kutná Hora, a cemetery chapel decorated with the bones of up to 40,000 people.
