Nunavut Tour Packages
Wild, lovely Nunavut is a haven for bird-watchers; you’ll find bird species here that aren’t seen in warmer climates and some of the biggest nesting colonies in the world. Arctic animals such as tundra swans and musk oxen can be seen near Cambridge Bay; you can also sail to Coats Island to see polar bears and walruses. Nunavut has the largest herd of caribou in the world roaming in the Thelon Wildlife Sanctuary. You can visit Inuit settlements to learn about their traditional crafts, see igloos being built or go dog sledding. There are also a lot of beautiful national parks for hiking and you can go white-water rafting on the Coppermine River in Kugluk Territorial Park. You can buy souvenirs from stores in all the communities in Nunavut.
