Niger Tour Packages

Niger has a lot to offer tourists who aren’t looking for a holiday by the sea. Its Capital, Niamey has an excellent museum and zoo and the Centre de Metiers d’Art de Niger sells locally-made items. Other souvenirs can be bought in the Grande Marché. You can visit the Grande Mosquée (outside prayer times) and the Cathedral. If you’ve always wondered what an aardvark looks like, go to the W National Park where you can also see rare painted hunting dogs – an endangered species. Air and Ténéré National Nature Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is an important bird-watching area and has a sanctuary for the endangered Addax. Visit the Blue Mountains with their cipollino marble outcroppings that give the mountains their name.
