It was InfoHub that led me to M13853 - one of the BEST places to stay on the west coast of Costa Rica! We had just a Fantastic time staying there! The bungalows were spotless, colorfully decorated - even fresh flowers! The managers (Denise & Eduardo) made sure we had everything we needed! I was so happy to find the Lookout on InfoHub. Definitely a "10" experience, both with InfoHub and M13853!
As far as any other comments - I could go on and on about The Lookout and the managers, Denise and ... view more Eduardo! We did have an unfortunate experience of having one of our passports stolen and Denise went right to work calling the tourist police, filing a report, and Eduardo went with us to their version of the FBI (to translate - thank God!) to file a report so we could take a copy to the American Embassy in San Jose. It meant cutting our stay at the Lookout short - but Denise was wonderful to call and book a hotel for us near the Embassy and call a driver to take us there (it's a 4 1/2 hour drive). So it all worked out and we have some Wonderful memories - and pictures of their Gorgeous landscaping - the view - and sunsets - were Breathtaking! No restaurant or gift shop - but they are working on that. Great breakfast of fresh fruit, toast, yogurt, juice and Great Costa Rican coffee!
