I offer guided tours to Spain.
1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
My first tour (2006) was taking a group of motorcyclists on a weeks tour of Northern Spain to see 5 different species of Eagle, great motorcycling back roads, historical sites and food. It was very successful-QUOTE: ("Hola Don Duncan, well, all settled back here and off to boring reality in Manchester tomorrow..ugh! It was a great week and life seems quite flat away from our merry routine of seeing and experiencing so much I thought that without any doubt it was a really excellent week and your knowledge of the area, the history and your considerable Naturalists talents all gave a dimension to it that we would have missed completely on our own. Hasta Luego Charlie").
2. What is your company's mission?
To provide individually tailored tours with attention to every detail of the experience.
3. What does your company specialize in?
Individually designed tours that will include any particular interests of the customer but which is also likely to widen their experience of the area covered. I have a wide knowledge base (Natural History, History, Art, Literature, Geography etc) and research in any areas that seem to need more attention.
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
Duncan Gough. Film, T.V. and Theatre work as Designer and Construction Manager, Traveller and Writer - published book "Back Roads of Spain" Matador, unpublished Novel nearing completion. Cabinet Maker/Carpenter. Lived and worked in South Africa, Greece, Scotland, Spain and Italy, now Wales.
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
Don't do 'packages' all tours are bespoke though themes like the '5 eagles tour' are a good starting point.
6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?
"We had such a great time with you, It's hard to believe it was only a few days!! Thank you for all you did to make our trip such a pleasure. Its marvelous that we got to visit your home-- a real treat and just a hint of the marvels of Aberystwith. My guess (knowing how our travel patterns go) is that we might get to Spain near Bilbao before we get to Wales again. But we will keep you in the loop-- no question. All the best, Nor"
