InfoHub supplier since May 2007! Base of operations: India |
We speak Hindi and are knowledgeable about most things Indian: history, philosophy, Hinduism and Buddhism, myth, art and architecture, culture and customs, literature, traditional medicine and yoga, and wildlife. We've explored and studied the famous attractions and little-known wonders of this ancient but still-living culture, and lived among Indian people from the many social, cultural and historical backgrounds.
1. How long has the business been operating and how did it start?
Our business began in 1998, inspired by an India trip we designed for family members in 1995. At the time we had been living in India since the mid-seventies, studying and traveling extensively in this fascinating country.
2. What is your company's mission?
To stay small and personal and show our travelers the India we love; to enable them to experience the warmth and generosity of spirit of the Indian people. To keep exploring and studying and enrich our own experience and our trips.
3. What does your company specialize in?
Small group cultural tours in North and South India, Himalayan cultural safaris and high-altitude Himalayan treks. We also arrange private tours for individuals and groups.
4. Who is the founder or owner of the company and briefly describe his/her past activities?
Martin Noval has a PhD in philosophy and has taught at universities in the States and Canada. He first visited India in 1965 when still an undergraduate at NYU. That two-month trip led to his life-long study of philosophy. Carol Noval has a BA in Education and was a New York City public school teacher.
5. What is your most popular travel package and why?
Our North India tour because North India is the India of the imagination. But our South India tour that we began leading in 2007 has become very popular too.
6. What is the best compliment you received from a client?
"You have completely changed my life. "And we love this one too: "Thank you for introducing us to the magic, the chaos and the spirit of India. I don’t think any of us will ever shake it".
