M18635 is a 300 acre farm in the Bay of Plenty and is owned by Owen and Shelley Williams. The farm has a easy rolling contour and the climate is sub tropical. We have about half the area in exotic forest and native forest. The better areas used for livestock farming and kiwifruit and avocado crops.
The farm has always been a great spot for eco tourism and we have developed this part of the business over several years. There is a 7 kilometer road that takes you around the farm and through the forest. We have 4 kilometers of river boundary that is used for trout fishing, swimming and kayaking. There are several other products that include, farmstay and backpacker accommodation. There is 4 wheel drive tours, glow worm tours, Maori history tours, shearing demonstrations and livestock to handle, bird watching, mountain biking and fitness training. This is a must see when you visit New Zealand, it's like a snap shot of all the best eco tourism has to offer.
